2 EDITORIAL GOLFING IN STYLE Sun-kissed, full of energy and joie de vivre! Duca del Cosma is sparkling with good spirits and creativity. Every detail of the new Duca del Cosma golf collection reflects the proverbial Italian lightness of being. You ll really want to head off to the golf course for an extensive round straight away! This year I let myself be inspired by the lovely atmosphere of Lake Garda. Water shimmering in the sun, the beautiful colours of the flowers, the relaxed and cheerful way of life... We are delighted to present both functional and fashionable shoes for dedicated golfers to make bella figura off the course as well, says our absolutely enthusiastic designer Baldovino Mattiazzo. Colour is bliss! Grass-green, azure, orange and lemon-yellow contrast with pure white to enhance their special expressive powers. Colour blocking is the fashion trend and brings joie de vivre and an ultra-dynamic look to our shoes for ladies and men. Sophisticated metallic leathers in subtle gold, silver or trendy rose gold sparkle in the sun. Exotic embossed snake, ostrich and lizard patterns emphasize the luxury look. Finest leather in cognac, a favourite colour, has been hand-finished for a particularly lively look. Our attention to detail brings a unique, characteristic touch to the Duca del Cosma golf shoe collection. Classic elements, such as golf lace flaps or Lyra perforations, have been playfully enhanced with glossy effects and trendy colours. In addition to high-quality leather Duca del Cosma uses textile materials with stripe patterns, making the shoes even more lightweight. More comfort, more function. It goes without saying that in summer 2018 the Duca del Cosma collection is staying true to the company s DNA. In addition to the aesthetics of our models the functional spikeless sole, which has been improved once again, is a focus of the collection. The innovative, highly fashionable Airplay VI sole, which was introduced for the autumn/winter collection, will now also be available with the Munro, Camelot, Olbia and Rialto summer styles. The bi-colour TR functional sole with 5mm cone-shaped nubs generates progressive stability during swing and provides optimal grip. In addition, the sole features outstanding damping properties and an integrated front protection with an integrated logo. The small wedge guarantees a perfect stance. Duca del Cosma fans will also appreciate the lightweight, highly flexible Airplay Skyflex sole used with the La Spezia and Camelot models. 383 rectangular nubs provide 3,064 traction points for optimal grip throughout the swing. The Airplay III sole has almost become a classic: amongst others, our best-selling Kuba model features this lightweight TPU function sole with lateral stabilisers and cone-shaped nubs. More fun on the golf course, no matter what the weather. With the exception of the lightweight Amica and Geneva ladies shoe models for sunny days all leather models feature a membrane and are a 100% waterproof. The breathable lining and the interchangeable, ergonomically shaped leather-covered PU insole provide supreme comfort with every step.
