3 Location: Glen Abbey Golf Club Oakville A special thanks to Porsche Centre Oakville and Ajeet Kapila akapila@policaro.ca SWING OF THINGS GOING FOR A SUNDAY DRIVE When I called our friend Ajeet Kapila at Porsche Centre Oakville to ask about putting Porsche in the lookbook, I knew I was asking for trouble. He hooked us up with the iconic Porsche 911 Carrera 4S. I took the scenic route to Glen Abbey Golf Course, as somewhat of a summer pilgrimage, and completely fell in love with the car. The precision, the comfort and the exhilarating power working symphonically gave me chills, and was enough to start planning for one of my own. Go test drive one, and see for yourself. But consider this a warning--you re asking for trouble! 4 5

Members nominate local charities, of which 3 are randomly selected to be presented to the group by the nominating members. After short informal presentations, members vote to select the charity that is to be supported for the event. Each member donates $100 to the selected charity, making it a $10,000 or more total donation from the group for the selected charity at that quarterly event all in approximately an hour
