Some years back it had a high profile then faded but now it s back in a big way and our Spring/Summer 2018 product programme mirrors that trend, including the introduction of a Goodyear style B650SM. (See front cover and page 19). This has to be one of the best looking outdoors safety boot products around. It will replace style B550 on a running change basis over the summer. Honey is also introduced to our Signature design Largo Bay KPU Baz boot style. (See front cover and page 3). There is always a tendency to overlook the demand for work boot styles in non-safety spec for weekend/jeans wear. We have some great products in this category and are now changing two styles (B1700 and B1800) to honey nubuck specification (B2700 and B2800) on a running change basis over the summer months. (See front cover and pages 25, 26 and 27). Buckler Boots brand profile rises In each of the past two years Buckler Boots has been a finalist for the On the Tools Work Boot Brand of the Year award as the brand profile steadily rises and the products gain an ever increasing share of the UK premium safety boot market. Spring/Summer 2018 will see increased brand profile raising activity which got off to a great start at the Scotland v England 6 Nations match on BBC TV on 24th of February with LED ads running during both halves with excellent exposure for our Buckler Boots and Buckbootz brands. 6 Sole Patterns OUR HEART AND SOLES At the very heart of a good work boot is a good outsole and there has never been a Buckler Boots style which hasn t featured rubber outsoles. For us there is no compromising, we can t see past rubber as the prime work boot sole material and we invest heavily in our own rubber outsole development programmes. Rubber is tough, durable, stays flexible in a wide temperature range and is abrasion, slip, heat (300ºC 60 secs) and oil resistant. It also provides superior grip in nearly every conceivable working situation and is resistant to a number of chemicals. BSH009BR Waterproof RSP Buckshot 2 All the rubber outsoles you can see here have been developed by or in conjunction with Buckler Boots. If you think you ve seen other soles which look a bit like them then it s probably because some of our competitors have seen and liked them too.
