He will further personally supervise and or conduct your treatment. Dr. Sam van Eeden is the only Doctor in Ireland with a specialist academic qualification in Hair Restoration Surgery. 10 THE CONSULTATION WHAT ARE THE STEPS? The first step is simply to contact the clinic and make an appointment for a consultation. A date will then be arranged for the initial consultation. Also a patient web file will be created at this stage specifically for you, which will be accessible by login through the clinic website. This file will hold all of your photos, and details as you progress with your treatment. THE INITIAL CONSULTATION A formal consultation with one of our doctors is compulsory before any treatment can commence. Our consultations are personally conducted by a fully qualified physician and hair restoration surgeon. 11 THE TREATMENT Pre treatment consultation On your arrival at the clinic your doctor will conduct a brief but thorough consultation with you regarding your procedure. The Doctor will ascertain your basic medical history, medication taken if any and any relevant information. Special attention will be given to understanding your specific expectation and preferences regarding your hairline, pigment density and the overall esthetic look and appearance you would like to achieve. The doctor will also explain in detail the process of the treatment, possible side effects as well as general management of the aftercare. Just like in patients who have had hair transplants, the treatment reduces the contrast between the reflection of the scalp and the color of the hair.
