3 FEATURES : APPLICATION : UVIFED SOF inks are designed for se on following sbstrates In-line Corona treated Polyethylenes and Polypropylenes with srface tension level of minimm 48 dyne/cm. Vinyls (Corona treated minimm 40 dyne/cm). Coated paper and Cardboards. Coated foil and film. Uncoated paper and Cardboard. Note : Test Ink adhesion for sbstrate sitability before prodction rn. PRINT CHARACTERISTICS : Sitable for single & mlticolor Sheetfed Offset Presses. Excellent prints, high color intensity & low dot gain. Very good scratch resistance with overprint varnish. Sitable for both inter-station cring and wet trapping. Good adhesion & color matching capability. UVIFED SOF inks provide crisp character definition with sharp and clean reverses. They also exhibit good flow, leveling and gloss. Intercoat adhesion and trapping are excellent. UVIFED SOF inks may be cred with high lamp power. It can pass throgh many cring stations and still remain receptive to sbseqent prints. UVIFED SOF inks are compatible with single and mlti color Sheetfed Offset presses. UVIFED SOF are overprintable with UV varnish. IMPORTANT Resistance properties (e.g. adhesion) of the inks shold be checked only after 24 hrs of post-cre printing operation. Same printing conditions mst be followed for proofing and blk prodction. PRESS PERFORMANCE : : Exceptional stability of ink-water balance. Ink remains stable on the roller. No misting even on high speed presses. Compatibility with all type of dampening soltion. CURING : Cring properties are dependent on color and opacity. UVIFED SOF inks can be cred by sing UV lamps of optimm cring speed of 300 m/min (with 3 lamps each of 120 W/cm minimm). The rate of cring is dependent on the sbstrate, condition of lamps & reflectors, color, thickness of the ink film etc. UV cring is followed by 24 hors post-cre phase after that film gets flly cred to get final properties. Generally black & opaqe white inks will cre slower than other inks and varnishes. PRE-PRODUCTION TEST : UVIFED SOF Series has been formlated to adhere to most corona or flame treated plastic materials with srface tension levels of minimm 48 dyne/cm. However, it is strongly recommended that all plain and over-printed / coated sbstrates are tested before se, as similar sbstrates can vary from batch to batch and spplier to spplier. Also, plasticizers in certain plastics may migrate to srface casing loss of adhesion of ink even after several hors of cring. IMPORTANT : END-USER MUST DETERMINE SUITABILITY OF THIS PRODUCT FOR THE INTENDED USE PRIOR TO PRODUCTION. CLEANING : To clean roller, plate and other eqipment se FGS 100 Roller. Wash for cleaning. COLOUR AVAILABILITY : The UVIFED SOF seritone color range comprises of standard halftone colors, opaqe white and other Seritone colors. Color matches, inclding metallic shades, can be spplied against print or wet ink sample.

Refer to actal print sample for more accrate recommendations and referred to as Ble Wool color representation. Scale. The light fastness vale is dependent on the qantity of the pigment in a blend and the thickness of the ink film, therefore it is possible that in color matches, sing low amont of colors,highly based black colors or thin film deposits that the light fastness may be lower than indicated in the table above. The resistance of the color matches shold always be based on the ink reference with the lowest resistance properties.

7 STORAGE & PACK SIZE: Keep inks in a cool place, away from direct snlight or extreme temperatres. Keep lids tightly closed when not in se. Any nsed ink shold not be retrned to the can; mst be stored separately. Shelf life is 12 months from the date of manfactre, nder storage at 15 C to 25 C. Stir well before every se. Available in 1 kg. and 5 Kgs. pack size. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION UVIFED SOF inks do not contain ozone-depleting chemicals as described in the Montreal Convention. SOF inks are formlated free from aromatic hydrocarbons, which are known to have an adverse effect on the environment. SOF inks are also free from benzophenone and volatile solvents. SAFETY AND HANDLING UVIFED SOF inks : Are formlated to be free from any (toxic) carcinogenic, mtagenic or reprotoxic chemicals. Do not have flash point and therefore are exempt from the Flammable Liqid Reglations.
