4 CAREER OF AN ARTIST WITH MULTIPLE TALENTS Classical dancer/ Passionate of architecture He first falls in love with dance. At 14, he joins the ballet of the Rhine National Opera. But Thierry Mugler is also passionate about art and fascinated by the extravagance of gothic architecture. So, he studies Decorative Arts and Design in Strasbourg alongside to become an interior designer. Star Fashion Designer of the 90 s In 1973, he launches his first personal collection signed Café de Paris. In 1974, he creates his own label Thierry Mugler Couture. In 1978, he opens his first store in Paris, Place des Victoires. True inventor of the Fashion Happening, fashion becomes a visual art, a performance where every woman metamorphoses into a dazzling, idealized creature. A structured and elegant fashion. 5 Passionate photographer Throughout his life, he has nurtured a passion for photography and published his first book Thierry Mugler Photographer in 1988 followed in 1999 by a monography called Fashion, Fetish, Fantasy, a collection of his most extraordinary and most muglerian creations He also acts as exclusive photographer for the Thierry Mugler Parfums institutional visuals. Stage costume designer In 2003, Thierry Mugler exalted his love of performance in collaboration with the prestigious Cirque du Soleil for a show named Zumanity, presented in exclusivity at Las Vegas, where the designer worked his magic by creating the characters costumes and identity. In 2009, Thierry Mugler becomes artistic consultant for Beyoncé Knowles. He has designed fifty eight outfits for the star s world tour I Am. Beyoncé is in fact wearing a Thierry Mugler dress on the photos that accompany her latest album called I am Sasha Fierce. In 2013, Thierry Mugler revisited and reinvented the art of review in Paris with «Mugler Follies», a variety show mixing eroticism, sophistication and humor. In 2014, he pursued his creative and scenic work on the largest stage in the world, at the Friedrichstadt Palast in Berlin, with a staggering mega-show full of special effects and technology, called «The Wyld».

6 Advertising film director Thierry Mugler also directs short films, advertising spots and video clips. He created the video clip for the George Michael song Too Funky in 1992 and did the advertising film for ALIEN in 2005.

8 LA MODE MUGLER David Koma is a 30 years old Georgian born, London based fashion designer who has become synonymous with the ultra body contouring silhouette. Creating sculptural statement dresses inspired by the feminine body, it is this design element that has projected the young designer onto the international stage. After studying Fine Art in St Petersburg and showing his first collection at the age of 15, Koma moved to London in 2003 to take up a place at the prestigious Central St Martins College of Art and Design. It was here that he channeled his love of fashion and honed his design skills to create his signature look. He completed his BA in Fashion Design and graduated with a distinction in MA Fashion in April 2009 under the mentorship of Professor Louise Wilson, OBE. Straight after graduation David Koma launched his eponymous label as a participant of London Fashion Week, presenting 2 womenswear collections a year. DAVID KOMA Artistic Director

9 LA MODE MUGLER Virginie Courtin-Clarins is the Marketing and Communication Director at the Mugler fashion house. During her studies at the top business schools in France, EDHEC, her taste for business naturally led her to doing a major in Entrepreneurship. From an early age she felt a real passion for the family brand and during her studies she carried out marketing work placements at Clarins in the USA and Asia. She is passionate about beauty, but Virginie has always been interested in the world of fashion. After she first met Thierry Mugler at one of his spectacular catwalk shows when she was just eight years old, she developed a true fascination for his brand and designs. In 2010, she joined the teams of the famous Parisian department store Le Printemps. Working in the Fashion & Beauty department, she was in charge of marketing operations and partnerships. VIRGINIE COURTIN-CLARINS Marketing & Communication Director at the Mugler fashion house. In 2013, Virginie was nominated to be the Marketing & Communications Director at the Mugler fashion house. Convinced of the strong potential of the Mugler fashion brand, her goal is to make it a leading brand by increasing its desirability and visibility. To achieve this, she tapped the designer David Koma to give new life to the Mugler brand remaining faithful to the visionary spirit of its creator.

The Spring Summer 2016 runway reveals the debut handbag collection designed by David Koma. Once the product is spread, massage it in, using smoothing movements from the inside wrist to the elbow.
