4 WHAT S ON IN CHELESEA MUSIC ART THEATRE EXHIBITIONS FOOD The Duke 6 to 12 September - Royal Court Raising money for child refugees, Shôn Dale-Jones is welcomed to the Royal Court with his solo show, The Duke. Winner of the 2016 Fringe First Award, the play cleverly challenges traditional values of society in a thought provoking manner. Grenfell Tower Benefit Concert 17 September - Cadogan Hall Some of the world s leading opera stars, alongside exciting new vocal talent, perform music from Mozart, Puccini and more. All proceeds will go to those affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. Jim Naughten - Mountains of Kong 12 September to 21 October - Michael Hoppen Naughten s exhibition transports the viewer to another world, a time when the mountains of Kong were believed to exist. Using old fashioned stereoscopic technology that allowed the Victorians to experience exotic international locations, Naughten creates his own vision of the mountains with breath-taking and engaging images. Preparing for the 11+ Exams 14 September - Ampersand Hotel Holland Park Education want your child to feel fully prepared when it comes to this crucial point in their lives. Every session is led by an expert in the field with an opportunity for Q&A s afterwards. This seminar will guide parents through the whole process, from choosing the right schools, interpreting the different assessment requirements and timeframes, to preparing effectively. Tosca 9 September - Cadogan Hall Human Nature 12 September to 21 October - Michael Hoppen The Russian State Opera brings an anticipated production of this classic story to Chelsea. Expect atmosphere, passion and intrigue, brought to life by beautiful singing that will take you to romantic Italy. As part of Michael Hoppen s exciting autumn schedule, American photographer Lucas Foglia returns for his third exhibition at the gallery. Experience colourful shots that depict the human relationship with nature and the wild, capturing a complex relationship between fondness and fragility. Rosie Sanders: Secret Letters 23 September to 14 October - Jonathan Cooper Renowned botanical artist Rosie Sanders is celebrated for her striking watercolours. Secret Letters promises an exciting journey of discovery, with each artwork accompanied by a personal letter explaining its inspiration. Across the pond, the designer demonstrates his fashion prominence by securing a sought after spot with an opening day show for New York Fashion Week. We can expect his Summer/Spring 2018 collection to incorporate his past inspirations such as high octane nineties glamour. LONDON ANYA HINDMARCH Date: 17 September Time: 10am Queen of bags, Anya Hindmarch s fun designs are a fashion staple, attracting a large celebrity fan-base from Angelina Jolie to The Duchess of Cambridge. As one of the first accessories designers to hold a coveted spot during London Fashion Week, her shows are renowned for their energy and production.
