2 An Inspired Journey... Rooted in tradition and inspired by imagination, Indi Pop by Alaxi Sunbrella embodies the mystic of Southwest Asia. Rich colors and designs pay tribute to the emerging, modern culture of India. With its saturated palette and the fresh take on the exotic heritage of art, we have created possibly our most vibrant collection to date. The group marries the motifs of ancient India with the new vibe of progress. The color palette includes bright colors from nature and bold patterns symbolizing sun, water and landscape. Celebrating the sun are warm tones of red, bright orange, sunburst yellow and coral. Symbolic of water are Cerulean blues, turquoise and aqua. Landscape is represented by green grass and rich earth hues mixed with natural brights from flowers. Described as a journey through a bazaar or marketplace, there are brilliant colors like those of hand dipped silk saris. Motifs resemble hand-woven baskets and intricate brocades on shoes, small purses. There is an oversized link pattern that is reminiscent of rich gold bracelets and anklets. 4 Bombay Dreams Taken from Indian architecture, this pattern has the intricate look of the hand-carved pillars that surround the Taj Mahal.
