(from Ten Steps by Sándor Weöres) DEAR COSMETICIANS AND STUDENTS, There are stages in our lives, and the life of a brand is no different -- this year we stepped up to the next level. In 2017, on the occasion of the XXth International Ilcsi Congress, we implemented major developments as regards our image and packaging technology to everyone s delight, we trust. Besides creating a new look, we wanted to focus on environmental consciousness as well. Purity is always an important aspect, even in the metaphorical sense. Not only for man and nature, but also in the life of a cosmetic brand the significance of which is increasing year after year. It is of utmost importance for us that certified, professional Ilcsi natural cosmetics produced by us do not cause even the slightest harm to nature or people. We do our best to give you, cosmeticians and estheticians, every piece of information so that you can practice this beautiful profession with a clear conscience. I have to call your attention once again to the fact that in the market of cosmetics words are frequently twisted and distorted, trying to take advantage of well-meaning people. We often find that many manufacturers and distributors use expressions like eco, organic, pure, vegetarian, and natural without justification. Unfortunately, I have to say that it is an intentional deception. In our opinion, working in an environmentally conscious way cannot be a marketing trick it must become a question of conscience, for the sake of Earth and future generations. The European Union has at last noticed the chaotic situation and as of 1 January 2017 the COSMOS Standard is in effect, setting strict requirements for the certification bodies. Due to the strictness of the standards and the confusion of earlier decades, only five organizations have agreed to meet the requirements specified by the COSMOS Standard. One of these organizations is the international BDIH, based in Germany, which also certifies Ilcsi, proving once again that Ilcsi manufactures reliable, peopleand environmentally friendly natural cosmetics. This is also underpinned by the Öko Garancia certificate of our 20-acre organic plantation. I respectfully ask you to communicate our efforts, the fact that standards have become stricter, and the names of approved international certification bodies (BDIH, ECOCERT, COSMEBIO, ICEA, SOIL ASSOCIATION), because they are meant to serve your, as well as your guests safety, well-being and beauty. Think boldly, do not be afraid to make mistakes! Keep your eyes open, notice even the tiny details, and be moderate in everything but your goals. 5 KNOWLEDGE THROUGH GENERATIONS It is often mentioned: the essence of our natural cosmetics is 60 years of experience. Yet our story began more than half a century ago. Aunt Ilcsi was an enthusiastic collector of herbs and flowers, she spent her childhood in her grandparents village where she also mastered a verbally transferred knowledge that relies on the experiences of generations of herbalist women and healers, thereby creating the basis of our current formulas, and on the other hand, creating the philosophy that knowledge is infinite and every bit of experience we add to it matters. The story did not end: we continue to verify, extend, and develop this knowledge with your daily experiences!

6 AUNT ILCSI Aunt Ilcsi laid the foundations of our enterprise in She travelled the world and was invited to 23 cosmetic world congresses; she had a holistic knowledge and was a very keen observer of human nature. Today, in 2017, the professional and last but not least, the mother who spoke four languages is a lot more to us than the complex entirety of her unforgettable values. We build our work and our creations solely on the principles laid down by her: the belief that in nature there is a solution to every skin problem, and everyone deserves to have customized help with their various cosmetic distresses.

The responsibility is huge, since we are responsible for a heritage bearing the name of our mother, grandmother, and for the existence of a natural cosmetic brand that is trustworthy and present on the international stage as well. Our aim this year is the same: to introduce the products, which we are truly proud of, and through them talk about everything that we consider important, giving you help with your work and studies. IT IS OUR MISSION Each product is the work of nature in the first place we only come second. We create our special and professional natural cosmetic products by utilizing the plant-based active ingredients of nature. We believe that nature can offer an effective solution to every problem and it knows the answer to everything. All we have to do is to be able to ask the right questions. HONESTLY It is worth telling only the truth. Providing our customers with comprehensive and valid information is important, therefore we manufacture solely certified natural cosmetics that are labelled and can be identified on the basis of ingredients (INCI). Since we recognize these products not from their commercials but their ingredients, in our product descriptions the list of botanical active ingredients has a prominent role. KEEPING UP WITH THE TIMES We always have something new to say and we told about every new thing well before others. Owing to their characteristics, our progressive products have always preceded the international cosmetics trends. For example they have anti-pollution qualities, since the fruits we use supply from a natural source the antioxidants that are necessary to protection. We already believed the use of fruits and vegetables rich in active ingredients, nutrients, vitamins, and essential fatty acids was important, even before international research was conducted on this matter. We do not use artificial fertilizers or plant protection chemicals, and we do not carry out animal testing. WITH QUALITY We take from pure source only, because this is the only way we can be truly authentic. Our natural cosmetic products contain high concentrations of active ingredients, which are derived from plants grown on a 20-acre organic plantation certified by Öko-Garancia and used exclusively by us, from plants grown on organic farms, and wild harvested plants. We work according to the strictest standards set for natural cosmetics, the majority of our products are audited and certified by the German BDIH, which is one of the strictest certification bodies. CUSTOM-FIT SKIN CARE Everyone is different, so is every treatment different problems require different solutions. Our body is a complex unity: the unity of our biological self, spirit, and emotions. An entity, in which the parts get a meaning only in their relation to the whole. For the sake of our health, during treatments we must pay attention to, treat, and care for the entire body, because it is the only way to restore its beneficial, balanced state. The precondition of this is creating customized treatments with targeted treatment steps, and our range including nearly 160 products allows us to do that. WITH HIGH TECHNOLOGY We believe in naturalness but we also believe in high technology, for they strengthen one another. Our natural skin care products are bursting with active ingredients and in order to make them work even more effectively we use electrocosmetic devices: they enable more targeted problem-solving, more effective treatment, increased supply of active ingredients, and extend the duration of the treatment. These numbers refer to recipes, with their help we categorize the products according to their natural ingredients, original proportions, blending and processing methods. In other words, every formula number refers to a unique, inimitable recipe from Aunt Ilcsi s own big book. Our product palette allows us to offer custom-fit, personalize treatments and at the moment it includes nearly 160 products, therefore it is easier for our guests as well to use these recipe numbers they can refer to their frequently used or favourite products by these numbers too.

15 CLEANSERS Cleansing is a key step of the daily skin care regimen. The natural perspiration and lipid production of the skin and environmental pollution concern all of us. Various kinds of dirt and impurities are deposited on the skin so it is important to cleanse it thoroughly every evening.

16 16 CLEANSERS In addition to other botanical ingredients, Ilcsi cleansers (cleansing milks) also contain vitamin-rich plant oils (vegetable oils) to melt away dirt, impurities and even make-up. SALON USE OF CLEANSERS As the first step of any treatment, remove make-up and dirt with a cleanser. HOME USE OF CLEANSERS In the evening, use a cotton ball to thoroughly wipe the face, neck and décolletage with a cleanser. 011 Cleansing Refreshing 018 Refreshing Firming ROSE PETAL CLEANSER Made from the petals of carefully selected, hand-picked red roses from Szőreg, which are grown on an organic plantation. Silky textured cleanser high in vitamins and bioflavonoids, to remove dirt, impurities and make-up. For dehydrated skin surface, deeper layer skin dehydration, and loose skin type. APPLE & LEMON CLEANSER This cleanser has a refreshing scent and perfectly removes make-up and various kinds of impurities and dirt. 17 CLEANSERS Cleansing Regenerating GRAPE STEM CELL CLEANSER Essential to the daily care of mature skin with dehydrated skin surface and deep layer skin dehydration. An effective way of removing make-up and impurities. 19 TONERS Ilcsi s toners are rich in valuable botanical extracts to refresh and tone the skin, and to provide optimal preparation for further care. In salon facial and body treatments, toners are used for refreshing the skin and improving skin tone; in electrocosmetic treatments they are used for tightening (minimizing) the pores.

20 20 TONERS Recommend to your guests the daily use of Ilcsi toners at home because they remove excess oil, thereby reducing the layer that insulates the skin. Applying a toner to the face is just as important after waking up as it is before going to bed because when we wake up in the morning, toxins are sitting on our skin. The daily use of toners helps support the peripheral circulation, thereby promoting health. SALON USE OF TONERS Before each facial and body treatment, wipe the skin with a toner to refresh and tone. HOME USE OF TONERS Use toners as a step of the morning and evening skincare regimen to refresh skin. For electrocosmetic treatments with the Facemaster 4in1, moisten a cotton ball with a toner suited to the guest s skin type. Following extraction treatments (removal of acne and comedoes), wipe the skin with a toner to aid regeneration. 031 Refreshing Toning Pore tightening 030 Refreshing Pore tightening ROSE PETAL TONER It is no coincidence that rose water is one of the most ancient cosmetics. This toner is made from the petals of carefully selected, hand-picked, gorgeous and fragrant red roses grown on an organic plantation in Szőreg, preserving their wonderfully refreshing, elasticity boosting and hydrating substances and effects. The toner is rich in vitamins and bioflavonoids. Especially recommended for dehydrated, loose skin. ROSE HIP TONER Regular use (twice a day) is essential for sensitive, seborrheic, acneic skin. Normalizes the functioning of the sebaceous glands. Main ingredients: rose hip, vegetable glycerin, natural flavonoids. 21 TONERS Soothing Toning Astringent STONECROP TONER ALCOHOL FREE Recommended primarily for pigmentation disorders and hyperpigmentation. The ingredients of the toner have keratoplastic, astringent, skin lightening and healing properties. It can be used even by guests with the most sensitive skin. Main ingredients: stonecrop, aloe, natural flavonoids, vegetable glycerin. 125 ml 035 Normalizing Soothing Pore tightening 038 Pore tightening Toning Refreshing SULPHURIC TONER The ancient Greeks and Romans had already used sulphuric thermal springs for the treatment of skin diseases. The sulphuric water of Parád was a popular drink all over Europe, where it accompanied meals, and it is also used in modern medicine for the treatment of various skin conditions, acne and psoriasis. It is also very effective when used for cosmetic purposes. We added limewater to increase the soothing, anti-inflammatory effects of the Sulphuric Toner. It can be used for various types of treatments; recommended for oily, acneic skin prone to inflammation, as well as oily scalp and dandruff. APPLE & LEMON TONER The daily use of the toner formulated with apple and lemon has beneficial effects on acneic, oily, seborrheic skin that has large pores. Main ingredients: apple, lemon, vitamin C, vegetable glycerin, natural essential oils. Main ingredients: sulphuric water, peppermint oil. 125 ml 125 ml

23 TONERS Regenerating Refreshing GRAPE STEM CELL TONER The toner contains grape stem cells, its special formula refreshes and regenerates mature skin with dehydrated skin surface and deep layer skin dehydration. Main ingredients: grape stem cell culture, grape, resveratrol, vegetable glycerin, plant-derived essential oils, natural flavonoid and vitamin C. 125 ml 033 Soothing Cleansing 037 Cleansing Regenerating Pore tightening 125 ml SENSITIVE EXTRA TONER Formulated with yarrow and plantain to refresh and soothe extra sensitive skin prone to allergy and inflammation, which is difficult to treat. Recommended for the daily care of extra sensitive skin. Following extraction treatments, massage the toner into skin with an electrocosmetic device to effortlessly remove red patches or oedema caused by squeezing. Main ingredients: yarrow, plantain, vegetable glycerin, natural flavonoid. SOUR CHERRY & BLACKTHORN TONER Recommended for refreshing anaemic (bloodless), loose skin, large pores. By using products that contain blackthorn we can enrich the capillaries with iron and we can also stimulate collagen production. 25 CLEANSING CONCENTRATES The use of the wrong skin care products, trendy bubble baths and shower gels, and the lack of exercise lead to the thickening of the keratinized layer, which causes a dry, dull feeling. It insulates the skin so it cannot renew itself from within, and prevents the absorption of skin care products. Ilcsi s soft, cooked cleansing concentrates (soaps) soften and dissolve the keratinized epidermal cells, thereby preventing thickening, and they also restore the skin s self-cleansing function, opening the way for skin care products.

27 CLEANSING CONCENTRATES 27 Recommend the daily use of Ilcsi s cleansing concentrates to your guests, and treatments will be even more effective. SALON USE OF CLEANSING CONCENTRATES Use them before treatment to soften skin and dissolve keratinized epidermal cells. HOME USE OF CLEANSING CONCENTRATES Use them every day as a facial wash and shower gel for the entire body. We can enhance the results by scrubbing the skin with a sponge or a damp brush. Follow up with an Ilcsi body lotion! 071 Refreshing Keratolytic Invigorating NETTLE CLEANSING CONCENTRATE This gentle, cooked cleansing concentrate also contains nettle; recommended for cleansing dry, itchy skin on the face and body. The precious active ingredients of the Nettle Cleansing Concentrate regenerate and refresh the dry, often dull, dehydrated skin. Main ingredients: nettle, linseed oil, natural essential oils and chlorophyll, tocopherol. 100 ml 070 Soothing Keratolytic Astringent 072 Refreshing Cooling Keratolytic MINERAL CLEANSING CONCENTRATE Contrary to rumours, washing with soap does the skin good, it removes the oily film the surface. This cleansing concentrate is recommended for seborrheic, acneic skin. Also recommended as a shaving product for men suffering from folliculitis. Main ingredients: linseed oil, ichtyol, vegetable glycerin, tocopherol, lavender oil. REFRESHING CLEANSING CONCENTRATE Before body treatments, mix some Refreshing Cleansing Concentrate with water to cleanse the skin and improve its permeability. Naturally, it is also suitable for home use as a facial and body wash for dry skin. Due to precious eucalyptus oil and peppermint oil it is also a great aromatherapeutic experience. Main ingredients: camphor, linseed oil, lavender, peppermint, and eucalyptus essential oils, vegetable glycerin, ascorbyl palmitate. 50 and 100 ml 100 ml

29 AHA PEELINGS In case we want the cosmetic treatment to deliver truly excellent results, we should begin with the thorough preparation of the skin and the abrasion of dead epidermal cells to enable it to absorb active ingredients and beautify itself. We can remove dead epidermal cells with mechanical exfoliating scrubs or with biological peels formulated with alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs).

31 AHA PEELINGS 31 AHAs, also known as fruit acids, loosen and remove the dead, colourless layers from the surface, thereby promoting the renewal of underlying cells. AHAs rejuvenate the skin, make it more radiant, and refine deeper wrinkles. With their help we can fade pigment spots, maintain softness and increase hydration. By dissolving the thickened keratinized layer we are aiding the skin s natural self-cleansing processes and the absorption of further active ingredients. Even chronic skin conditions can be effectively and quickly treated with various AHA treatments. 150 Keratolytic Skin renewing 151 Keratolytic Skin renewing AHA FRUIT PULP TREATMENT This biological peel delivers a result that can be seen and felt immediately, irrespective of skin type or skin problem. It loosens and removes dead epidermal cells from the surface, promotes skin renewal, has a superficial keratolytic effect, improves the skin s capability to retain water. Recommended use: combine with the Paprika Herbal Treatment. AHA WHIP PEELING TREATMENT Skin renewing peel recommended for all skin types. Gently loosens and removes the stubborn build-up of keratinized epidermal cells. Fast and easy use. Main ingredients: lactic acid, mallow flower, vegetable glycerin, natural flavonoids, sesame oil, tocopherol. 33 FACIAL AND BODY EXFOLIATORS An effective treatment must also include the removal of the keratinized epidermal layer, in other words, the preparation of the skin for the absorption of active ingredients. When choosing the right exfoliator/peeling, examine the condition of the skin and consider the amount of time available for the treatment. If we must hurry, we should use the Sea Sand&Willow Peeling or the Horsetail&Spinach Exfoliating Mask. But if we can afford it, it is worth giving Ilcsi s peels a bit more time because they also work as nourishing masks.

34 34 FACIAL AND BODY EXFOLIATORS The use of exfoliators enables skin to breathe free again and regenerate, so in addition to the daily use of an Ilcsi cleansing concentrate, the weekly use of an exfoliator/peeling suited to the guest s skin type is also recommended. SALON USE OF EXFOLIATORS/PEELINGS Apply a medium layer, allow it to dry, then rub off with your hands, a brush or peeling gloves. HOME USE OF EXFOLIATORS/PEELINGS Same as their salon use. Recommended once a week. Quick peelings can be rubbed off instantly. 100 Abrasive Soothing Vitamin replenishing 101 Abrasive Invigorating ROSE HIP & MAIZE EXFOLIATING MASK Especially suitable for refining scaly, seborrheic skin. Thanks to its special active ingredients rose hip and cornmeal, this facial scrub has soothing, nourishing and refining effects. It makes skin more penetrable, cosmetic products applied after exfoliation are absorbed easier. Main ingredients: rose hip, cornmeal, corn oil, zinc oxide, zinc sulphate, honey, vegetable glycerin, lactic acid, tocopherol, natural essential oils. 50 and 250 ml ROLLING FACE & BODY EXFOLIATING MASK The abrasive effect of this exfoliating mask makes even the roughest, heavily keratinized skin soft and silky to the touch. Contains hot paprika, which causes mild flushing. Thanks to its softening and abrasive properties and the mineral content of Szoboszló water, we can achieve very nice results in the case of mature skin with dehydrated and alipic deep layers. 35 FACIAL AND BODY EXFOLIATORS Abrasive Soothing Keratolytic SULPHURIC TREATMENT & EXFOLIATING MASK Thanks to the beneficial, keratolytic properties of sulphur we can gently prepare the very acneic, inflamed, problem skin for treatments. Main ingredients: sulphur, zinc oxide, zinc sulphate, vegetable glycerin, honey, corn oil, peppermint oil. 50 and 125 ml 102 Abrasive Refreshing 263 Soothing Hydrating Vitamin replenishing SEA SAND & WILLOW PEELING Willow pulp, which contains lactic acid, has a mild keratolytic effect and it is enriched with a soft moisturizing cream in this formula. We can easily rub off dissolved, loosened keratin with sea sand almost as fine as semolina. Sea sand granules are round, have no sharp edges so they cannot injure the skin. Suitable for all skin types, except sensitive, acneic skin. SENSITIVE EXTRA TREATMENT & PEELING Recommended for all skin types, especially for extra sensitive skin. Has soothing, hydrating and antioxidant effects. Main ingredients: yarrow, plantain, grape seed oil, tocopherol, natural flavonoids, vegetable glycerin, zinc oxide, ascorbyl palmitate. Main ingredients: grape seed oil, Parajd salt, corn oil, tocopherol, natural essential oils. 250 ml 106 Abrasive Softening Regenerating 108 Abrasive Hydrating HORSETAIL & SPINACH EXFOLIATING MASK Recommended for all skin types. The most important active ingredient in horsetail is silicic acid which contains silicon that maintains skin s elasticity and prevents premature ageing. Horsetail and spinach are rich in flavonoids and have antioxidant properties, improve blood circulation and the permeability of capillaries, and help supply the skin with nutrients, vitamins and oxygen. GRAPE STEM CELL PEELING Ground grape seeds gently remove dead epidermal cells, and thanks to its grape stem cell content the peel also nourishes mature skin with dehydrated skin surface and deep layer skin dehydration. 39 MASSAGE CREAMS Massage creams are the helpers of the most pleasant cosmetic procedure. A massage fills up the guest s skin as well as their soul with energy and beauty. We can choose from a selection of hydrating, moderately oily and oily products, depending on our aim and the guest s skin type.

If we enrich massage creams with the Nettle&Algae Treatment, we can further increase blood flow, which will improve the efficacy of the treatment. SALON USE OF MASSAGE CREAMS Use them for facial, neck, décolletage and body massage.
