3 Tongue Depressors & Medical Spoons Our tongue depressors are made from close-grained White Birch. This select wood provides a smooth finish. It has no taste or odor and maintains a high strength. In addition to oral use, our tongue depressors are ideal for spreading ointments and salves, and for stirring and mixing medications. Industrial needs, such as application of paint or glues, are also well-served by this line. Available in plain, wrapped, and sterile styles with an option of customized printing on wrappers. Medical spoons are made of biodegradable White Birch.
