PIGMENTATION /SUN-DAMAGED /SCARRED /UNEVEN SKIN TEXTURE /ENLARGED PORES / DEEP WRINKLES / DEHYDRATION /ACNE / ACNE SCARS Skin may have pigmentation, uneven skin colouring, fine lines, milia, blackheads, enlarged pores, acne pitting and scarring. These may be the result of environmental damage (e.g. sun exposure), chemical damage (e.g. medication resulting in photosensitivity), acne, stress, illness and neglect. AGE REVERSAL range is recommended to help eradicate the visible signs of aged skin, deep wrinkles and scarring. This intensive treatment regime may result in down-time so be prepared for initial side effects from the treatments. GLY C REFINE range is the recommended LA CLINICA range for an UNEVEN skin texture and long standing pigmentation. GLY C REFINE formulations use a combination of glycolic acid, vitamin C and poly hydroxy acids to refine and nourish, revealing fresher, younger looking skin. The exfoliating process and Vitamin C work to help lift and gradually diminish the appearance of skin imperfections including old and stubborn pigmentation, melasma and secondary melasma. 2. PIGMENTATION VULNERABILITY & SKIN REGENERATION This condition results from peels, skin needling (CIT), laser, IPL, microdermabrasion, medication. Skin that is undergoing treatments that may result in excessive pigmentation production. Skin requires booster treatments for faster healing and recovery time. WHITE BRILLIANT range is the recommended LA CLINICA category for regulating pigmentation / melanin production to help achieve an even skin colouring without excessive pigmentation. We recommend WHITE BRILLIANT for a skin whitening regime. 3. WRINKLES / MATURE / DRY / THIN Skin is showing signs of ageing, loss of skin tone, premature wrinkles, dryness and dehydration. Skin may feel tight and lack radiance. Skin renewal and moisture levels start to drop from the age of 20, with the first visible signs around the outer eye area. Mature and dry skin need support and protection to slow the signs of skin ageing. ANTI AGEING range is the recommended for 20+ age group. FIRMING LIFT range is recommended for 30+ age group. 14 BIOMIMETIC PEPTIDES Biomimetic peptides are specially engineered purified peptides. Biomimetic peptides mimic the function of growth factors in the skin. They act as messengers in the skin, allowing more efficient communication between the epidermis and dermis. What are Growth Factors? Growth factors are proteins that bind to their own cellular receptors with the primary result of activating cell proliferation and / or differentiation.
