19 our Story In 2008, when her only daughter was just four years old, Heidi Miller, mother of four, began searching for play makeup that would keep her daughter out of her own. When all she could find was real makeup (not something she wanted her daughter playing with) or cheap plastic pretend makeup (not realistic enough to hold her daughter s attention) she decided to create her own. Our Inspiration I had in my mind play makeup that would be in real makeup cases, just like mine. It would have realistic colors, and offer real brushes that were soft on her skin basically, makeup that she would think was real, but wasn t. My goal was to create pretend makeup that my daughter could play with without me worrying about her getting it all over the place and would keep her out of mine! Heidi recalls. Finally, after months of researching and creating several prototypes, Mini-Play Makeup was born. Not only does Mini-Play Makeup look real, but it feels incredibly real, too. It s so soft and silky to the touch that everyone who touches it kids and adults looks at their finger because they think it s real. Mini-Play Makeup has had great growth and success in just a few short years and continues to wow customers.
