Architecture Month: April 2018 Presented by the District Architecture Center April is Architecture Month featuring behind the scenes tours, interactive lectures, and exclusive parties throughout Washington, DC. These public events shine a spotlight on Washington's design culture for architecture enthusiasts of all ages. Timed during the Cherry Blossom festival, Lee Ming Wei s participatory performance installation was conceptualized while he cared for his mother after she recuperated from surgery. The artist and his mother found comfort in listening to Franz Schubert s Lieder. Pascal Salomon, piano Presented by Embassy Series Thursday, April 6:30 pm Embassy of Israel Washington, DC Pascal Salomon has performed intensively in France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, Greece, Hungary, Moldova, Romania, Israel, China and USA, both in recitals and chamber music. Some of his solo appearances with orchestra are Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Sinfonietta of Lausanne and La Sinfonietta de Genève, Orchestre du Capitol (Toulouse), National Chamber Orchestra of Moldova (Chisinau).
