11 SCULPT BIO-REVITALIZATION A method of restoring hydro-balance and improving the qualitative characteristics of the skin by intradermal injections of non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a negatively-charged polyanionic polymer with a physiological ph. Its water-binding enhances hydration. Fillers based on hyaluronic acid have been used in cosmetology since The Setana Med Sàrl Laboratory has developed a variety of fillers. Products come in 1 ml syringes, designed for injection into certain areas with various concentrations from 8 mg/ml to 26 mg/ml and a molecular weight of approximately 3,000 kdalton. SCULPT dermal fillers from Setana Med Sàrl Laboratory are produced by F.L.E.P (Fine Linking Extra Purification) technology. The SCULPT dermal fillers are viscoelastic gels with high-molecular, cross-linked hyaluronic acid of nonanimal origin consisting of the BDDE reticulating agent. 22 SCULPT DERMAL FILLERS With peptides Dermal fillers contain peptide complexes such as Nonapeptide-18 (CG-Formade) and Oligopeptide-55 (CG-Collagrin). Nonapeptide-18 (CG-Formade) suppresses the activity of hyaluronidase and matrix metalloproteinase which cause collagen reduction. With the use of fibroblasts, it regulates the synthesis of hyaluronic acid and increases synthesis of collagen fibers. Oligopeptide-55 (CG-Collagrin) has a powerful antioxidant effect and is responsible for regulating cell proliferation with keratinocytes and fibroblasts. Both of these complexes compensate for the lack of regulatory peptides, one unique features being that the skin s aging process is slowed. The vital peptide features include modulation of the cell apparatus activity and organizational methods and functional transfer of the cell to a rational, «anti-age» mode. 25 SCULPT PRODUCTS Based on pdrn Polynucleotides fragments of low molecular DNA are capable of triggering active regeneration and cell division processes. The Sculpt products with PDRN for injections are made from raw materials of animal origin such as the milt of salmonid fish. The nature of the active substance allows the use of polynucleotides without harmful effects on humans as they do not cause genetic transformations in the body. The only contraindication is possible allergic reaction to seafood. Once Sculpt products with PDRN are used, old cells are replaced with new and synthesis of DNA and RNA molecules starts to occur. This is the main difference between using the Sculpt with PDRN injections and other variants of Sculpt bio-revitalization: they do not try to activate metabolic processes in cells already worn down.
