2 REPORT FOR TUESDAY 20TH NOVEMBER An improved entry of lambs this week, but a lack in quality made the overall standard quality report look not as good as stated last week. Prices went from 148.5p to 176p to take an overall average of 164p. More lambs are needed each week, please contact Alastair so he can encourage further buyers. Top Prices of the day Lambs to 176p John North or Julia Hodgkinson Ewes to 77 E & M Wainwright Breeding Sheep to 70 (Jacobs) Jonelle Rose Store Lambs to 66 (Suffolks) DC Wiggins 317 Prime Lambs Standards - Topped at 171p for Paul Bartlett s 36kg lambs, Brian & Louise Pile entered a pen of 37.5kg lambs which sold to 169.5p, Mick Hall topped at 167p for a pen of 39kg Suffolks, which topped the price per head at 65.13, other lambs 33.5kg sold to 160p from Andrew Cook, Rex Taylor also topped at 160p for his 36kg lambs p p p Mediums Top of the day went to John North with some quality Texels, which sold to 176p or for 43kg lambs, next top went to James Underhill at 170p for 42.5kg lambs, also at 170p lambs from Vernon Phipps weighing 45.5kg sold to realise 77.35, Brian & Louise Pile topped at 170p for 41.5kg lambs, Julia Hodgkinson topped at 168p or for 42.5kg lambs and Roy and Pam Stone also sold lambs to top at 168p or for 43.5kg and a kilo lighter Pete Lea topped at 167.5p. 152p p p Heavies Topping at for 48kg Charollais lambs from Julia Hodgkinson, Roy & Pam Stone topped at for 47.5kg lambs, A Berks topped at for 47.5kg lambs, John North sold his to top at and Pete Lea sold his to p p p 77.86

3 Over 52kg Just one pen from NJ Foster weighing 52.5kg selling to 152p or p p p Cull Ewes & Rams A slightly smaller entry this week averaged a 1 more than last week. Topping at 77 for a Charollais from E & M Wainwright, SM Nightingale topped at 71 for 2 Charollais, Vernon Phipps sold a pen of 12 Texel x ewes to 70, Andrew Wheeler topped at 69 for his Texel x, WE Budd & Son topped at 67 for a pen of 10 Charollais. Mules topped at 45 for E & M Wainwright, then 42 for Graham Wealsby s with Paul Bartlett topping at Breeding Sheep & Store Lambs Four pedigree Jacob shearlings were entered this week from Jonelle Rose, which sold to 70. Store lambs topped at 66 and for 34 Suffolks from DC Wiggins, WE Budd & Son topped at for 8 Charollais, and 63 for 10 others, Graham Wealsby topped at 58 for his usual entry of Suffolks, Brian Smith topped at 57 for a pen of 14 Charollais. Plenty of long term investments and some misfits forward which sold from 20 to are already booked in for next week. A large crowd gathered and all sections were crammed full of lots, to include garden plants, ornaments, logs, fresh fruit & veg, dressed game and feathered game, along with hatching eggs. A large selection of household goods and miscellanea forward and our final section of the day the Fur & Feather, with lots on offer for all pockets, big or small.
