3 Hair Loss Related Terms and Facts Alopecia- The scientific term of hair loss, or baldness. It may refer to either hair loss from head or body. A.G.A- Andro Genetic Alopecia, also known simply as pattern balding, is the most common cause of hair loss in both men and women. DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) kills hair follicle and stops hair growth in particular areas. Some 70% of men and 40% of women are affected by A.G.A to some degree and at some point in their lives. 4 M.AG.A. Male AndroGenetic Alopecia, also known as male pattern balding. Testosterone turns into DHT (Dihydrostestosterone) and damages hair follicles causing hair loss in well-defined pattern, usually beginning above the temples, along with thinning of the crown and progressing into partial or complete baldness. F.A.G.A- Female AndroGenetic Alopecia. With women this type of balding usually causes thinning of the hair over the entire head rather than in defined pattern common to hair loss in men. DHT Dihydrotestosterone (the male hormone also found, in trace levels in women) interact with 5-alpha reductase enzyme found in the hair follicle s oil glands and is converted to DHT. The DHT then causes hair follicles to shrink and then renders them incapable of growing healthy hair.

7 Factors affecting hair loss Hair loss stems from many factors: Sensitivity of the follicles to the DHT Hormone causes miniaturization of the hair. Decrease in blood circulation causes the scalp to become thin and brittle. The result is less nourishment reaches the follicles. These conditions over time cause the hair to become thinner, shorter and weaker. The hair eventually falls out and does not regrow. The hair changes from strong and thick to thin and weak. 19 Scalp s skin thickness and elasticity A significant thickness increase was shown in the Dermis and Epidermis layers after 45 days of use, this shows acceleration of Collagen IIV and Elastin production along with increasing density of the skin layers. The average of two sides/dimensional/volumetric increased: 16.4% which provides firm anchoring of the roots and strong effect on the follicle size which also support better anchoring. The deterioration of the scalp s skin condition was completely stopped. The increase was observed on 99% of the participants. 20 Automated Photo Trichogtam (PTG): TrichoScan Introduction TrichoScan is, compared to conventional and Contrast-Enhanced (CE) PTGCEPTG, an investigator-independent, automated software program, validated by Good Clinical Practice (GCP), for the analysis of hair growth, which was developed as there was need for a sensitive tool to automatically monitor hair loss and the response to treatment. TrichoScan operates with defined values for intra- and interclass correlation between the same and different investigators. 25 The Three step solution Step 1. Use of HR9 Scalp Activator for Men/Women Men***On a clean and dry scalp, apply small amount (a few drops) directly to necessary areas with a pad or directly to the scalp with the dropper. Gently massage product in a criss-cross motion (horizontally and vertically) to ensure proper coverage. Gently massage the scalp for 1 minute. Make sure to apply the Activator on the scalp and not into the hair to avoid waste of the product. Use the HR9 Scalp Activator twice a week. Women***Divide the hair with horizontal lines (same process as coloring hair roots) and pour a few drops of the HR9 Scalp Activator directly onto the scalp and gently massage into the scalp. Repeat the process with vertical lines (in a criss-cross motion). Use the HR9 Scalp Activator twice a week.

26 Step 2. Use of HR9 Hair Activator for Men/Women Men***Apply a sufficient amount of HR9 Hair Activator immediately after finishing step 1(enough to cover the necessary areas, same as step one). Gently rub the Activator onto your scalp with your fingers. Apply from top of the head toward the forehead up to the original hair line. Make sure to apply the Activator directly onto the scalp and not on the hair to avoid waste of product. Use the HR9 Hair Activator twice a week. Women***Divide the hair with horizontal lines (same process as coloring hair roots) and pour a few drops of the Active Anchoring Serum directly onto the scalp and gently massage the product into the scalp. Repeat the process with vertically lines in a criss cross motion. Use the HR9 Hair Activator twice a week.

27 Step 3. Led Vibrating Derma Roller Men***Roll the LED Vibrating Derma Roller vertically and horizontally over the scalp between minutes. Press gently and slowly, discontinue if you feel irritation. If your hair is short, use the LED Vibrating Derma Roller over the hair. If your hair is long and or you feel that the LED Vibrating Derma Roller pulls your hair, make horizontal part with a comb, Using one hand flatten down the hair from one side of the part and roll the Micro Needling roller over the part. Keep doing so until you cover the whole area. Repeat the process with vertically parts. Leave on the product for 4 hours or, preferably, sleep with product on your scalp. Wash your hair 4 hours post with Argan Intensive Roots Strengthening Shampoo. Women***Divide your hair in horizontal sections (same as coloring hair roots) and with one hand flatten down the hair from one side of the part and roll the Micro Needling roller over the part. Keep doing so until you cover the whole area. Repeat the same process with vertically parts. Use the LED Vibrating Derma Roller over the scalp between minutes..
