While working through college as a facialist, Elke served as a top Education Specialist at Aveda for eight years and worked as a photography makeup artist for top models and celebrities. A longtime editorial, runway, and celebrity makeup artist, Elke s work has appeared on celebrities such as Kate Moss, James Franco, Angelica Houston, and many more at The Academy Awards, SAG Awards, The Golden Globes and the MTV Awards. Elke eventually transitioned into entrepreneurship, launching her own eyebrow salon and creating her own brow product line. Today, 2,500 clients from all over the world visit her salon in the FlatIron district of New York City.
