8 GREEN CRACKER FOR CELEBRATION eco green sustainable celebration Environmental organization recommended to many people that sow the wild seeds instead of firework in outdoor wedding or party place. Firework caused destruction of the environment and wild-flowers harmonized between natural garden and ecosystem. Green crackers is to use materials that biodegrade and wild-flowers for eco-friendly purpose. you can use the Green crackers that it blow away the petal will be naturally germinated on the ground which it made by water soluble film. additionally if you planted rest of crackers on the ground, it will naturally decomposed germinate seed from inside of Jiffy pot. 10 APPROACH BACKGROUND Trashes and CO2 are occured at celebration place like party and wedding. That image hardly matched with celebrating. Enjoyable party incur destruction of the environment. In order to solve these problems, green wedding and green party appeared. Reducing trashes and harmful gas are crucial. But party has to be fun and enjoyable. We need eco-friendly and enjoyable party. APPROACH PLOBLEM FOCUS As long as a pair of wedding reduces co2 below 50%, 14t of co2 could decrease. Generally, people make 14t of co2 to release for 1 year. ( Generally, 14 of co2 is released by people for 1 year. ) Party cracker use plastic, paper and powder that is made with heavy metal. The heavy metal has poisonous substances. 11 APPROACH FLOWER SEED IN CRACKER RESULT DESIGN The component of Green Cracker is flower petal with seeds. And the flower petal made with eco water soluble film, is melted by water. And then, only seeds remain. All Green Cracker materials are eco friendly. They can be discomposed naturally. It gives more positive effect with solving party cracker s weakness. Environmental organization encourage people to use wild flower seeds and flower petal. Instead of powder at green wedding and party. Because they can reduce using party cracker. And the serious problem on disappearing bees due to shortage of honey could get better.

DEVELOPMENT STRUCTURE All materials are eco- friendly and biodegradable. The main power of it is not powder. it is compressed air. And Body s material is compressed soil the part of bottom is made with jiffy pot. in compressed air It use compressed air as main power instead of powder. seed & jiffy pot Seeds and jiffy pot are in the inside. Compressed soil Biodegrade is possible because it made with compressed soil. Dimention 45(W) x 45(D) x 170(H) mm

13 Flow1 SCENARIO SOW SEED, PLANT SEED Green cracker has 2 directions. First, It has a same purpose with party cracker. We use it for celebrating. When setting off green cracker, celebration petals are spreaded out. Second, after setting off green cracker, the rest of it are planted. After few days, seeds will start grow up and ﬁnally, become ﬂower as present. Flow2

34 KETTEL STICK FOR HEATING Redesign of the Kettel Kettle Stick is uniquely different from traditional kettle in which a simple, long heating element is lowered into the water to raise the temperature. Kettle Stick eliminates the wasted energy needed to heat the whole kettle by only using standby power. Also, Kettle Stick is easy to carry anywhere and adjustable to your desired temperature. Too many times, we are oblivious to the amount ot energy that is wasted all around us. 54 STACKABLE CAN Recycling cans ratio is almost 60% in korea. And other 40%can not be being recycled because of problem that big sixe and bad smell from remained drink. That s why we designed this can. We can open the top part of this can completely. There are two can opener on the top of can so we can use this whenever we drink or use for a cup. And It s easy to clean when it has same form with a cup. Also it s easy to throw away because it s easy to clean and stack. TEAN PROJECT 2010 AUG.
