The 3rd box you can add a guest to your room plus add more rooms. The Rate is $ plus taxes. The next step is to hit update so you only reserve your room for the dates you want. Also the next link will take you to pay. They will ask for a credit card to hold your rooms, but you will not be charged untl you check out. Please reserve early: If you call in to make your reservation please identify yourself as being from Association of Sewing and Design. You may be asked to give the block reservation dates which is: October 17th - 24th Disney World Discounts Thank you Olfa Cutting Tools for your generous support.
3 Attention, please read carefully: We recently received notice from an ASG Member, who is also an ASDP member, that a potential conference attendee had been contacted by an outside company who was trying to get them to book a hotel room through their company. Please note that these are called housing pirates. I contacted our Host Hotel, and she confirmed that this is a real concern. HOTEL/HOUSING "PIRATES" and "POACHERS" - (DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THEM!!!) When ASDP secures sleeping rooms at a hotel for our Conference (commonly referred to as a room block), we research the property to make certain that our attendees and vendors are adequately accommodated. The room block is established to ensure that rooms meet our standards and are offered at a discounted price. We have been informed that people are often contacted by fax, or most often by phone with offers for cut rate housing. The intent is to convince you that the offer is being made on ASDP s behalf, or that the soliciting company is a viable alternative to the hotel link provided on the ASDP website. This is not true! How it works Room poaching is a practice carried out by third-party companies that act as travel agencies, wholesalers or destination management companies to solicit registrants for room reservations. The poacher might inform registrants that the hotel room block is sold out, and that if you do not book with them immediately, you may not get a room. Additional deception tactics include distributing forms or promotional materials that appear to be issued by ASDP because they have copied the ASDP logo. Room poachers make it more difficult for ASDP to meet our room block commitment and expose us to penalties and increased room rates for our events. Room poachers often do not deliver on promises to customers. When the customer arrives, the reservation is non-existent, or the hotel is not in the same location. Sometimes the rooms have been canceled, and hefty cancellation fees have been charged to the customer s credit card. They may ask for full pre-payment up front, which the hotel would never ask that you provide. Poachers often represent themselves as being affiliated with ASDP by illegally using our logo. How you can help Don t be misled! If you are contacted by anyone asking if you need a room for the ASDP conference, please get as much information as you can and pass it on to Brenda Breitenmoser, conference@sewingprofessionals.org so she can contact the Hotel. Thank you on behalf of the 2017 Conference Committee
