Understanding the physical and chemical structures of different polymers as well as their chemical modification. Identification of textile fibres as a laboratory experience helps in consumer education of the student. 2. To introduce students to the different reagents, soaps and detergents used in laundering of different fibers and fabrics based on their properties. 3.
