3 A EUROPEAN INITIATIVE FEDORA - The European Circle of Philanthropists of Opera and Ballet is a non-profit organisation that was created in Paris, in January 2014, under the presidency of Jérôme-François Zieseniss. Nurturing the renewal of opera and ballet is our mission: as a circle that gathers philanthropists of opera and ballet in Europe, we dedicate our passion and energy to assemble opera and ballet enthusiasts, who share the same vision of excellence. THE FEDORA PRIZES We believe in supporting emerging artists of exceptional talent in the field of opera and ballet, through the FEDORA Prizes. Thereby we wish to pay tribute to Rolf Liebermann who ignited FEDORA s vision over 20 years ago. We therefore raise funds for new opera and ballet productions that are created in the form of co-productions between opera houses, festivals and emerging artists. Thanks to the support of major donors and in close collaboration with Opera Europa, the FEDORA Prizes were created to encourage innovation and creativity in these artistic fields. Organisational members of FEDORA can apply for the FEDORA Prizes. 100, ,000 FEDORA PLATFORM In 2017, FEDORA successfully applied for the European Union s Creative Europe funding program to implement its project of an interactive European Platform to support innovation in opera and ballet. The Platform ( will act as a European hub and as a European quality label, promoting innovative and hybrid opera and ballet coproductions, created by emerging artists from diverse disciplines.it will encourage the involvement of existing and new audiences by allowing them to vote for their favourite projects and participate in their funding through online donations.

4 YOUR ORGANISATION AND FEDORA Sharing the same vision as FEDORA, organisations are the first tier of the FEDORA circle and will contribute to the future of the FEDORA network together. As part of the community, your organisation can set example of uniting Europe through collaborations and exchanges in the field of the performing arts. FEDORA Prizes FEDORA has established two prizes that are awarded to promising teams of co-producting partners and artists, who collaborate on the creation of new opera and ballet co-production. As an Organisational Member of FEDORA your organisation can apply for funding through the FEDORA Prizes. FEDORA Platform The FEDORA Platform offers increased visibility for the shortlisted and nominated projects of the FEDORA Prizes competition. The activities contribute to the accessibility of opera and ballet by encouraging the general audience to vote and donate online for their favourite projetcs. FEDORA s capacity-building and networking Your organisation can take an active role by participating in FEDORA s General Assembly with a voting right and can attend the Fundraising Forum organized in collaboration with Opera Europa, dedicated to peer-learning and the sharing of best practices in the field of philanthropy in Europe and beyond. FEDORA s Service Portfolio Your organisation has the possibility to reserve set packages for Special Events organised by FEDORA in collaboration with opera houses and festivals in Europe. Further, FEDORA offers its members made-to-measure Cultural Trips that are organised around performances at opera houses and festivals all over Europe and beyond. Thanks to the FEDORA VIP Ticket Service members can reserve tickets upon request at opera houses and festivals within the network. We will do our best to inquire about ticket abailability and to offer you additional benefits such as performance programmes, access to intermission cocktail receptions, special welcomes, meetings with artists, etc. TESTIMONIES I would like to congratulate the Board of Directors for having created FEDORA with its strong international outlook and the management team for their achievements in such a short time.
