The main aim of Américo Amorim s investment in the company was to contribute to the brand s process of internationalisation, which today has over 200 points of sale in all continents. 4 AN INTERNATIONAL HAUTE COUTURE BRAND The TOM FORD international haute couture brand, an indispensable name of the fashion world, has a corporate structure that has the multiple award-winning and worldwide acclaimed designer Tom Ford as the main shareholder. Since its founding in 2007, the company has pursued a glittering path of affirmation and internationalisation. Tom Ford has men s and women s collections, and is present in the major world markets, from the USA to Europe and Asia. TFI - SHAREHOLDER STRUCTURE Tom Ford International has a shareholder structure, which includes Tom Ford s majority stake of 63.75%, a 25% stake belonging to the Américo Amorim Group and an 11.25% stake belonging to Domenico De Sole. Américo Amorim embraced this project in 2007, acquiring a stake in TFI, with the purpose of supporting an ambitious world expansion plan.
