The Mela-Prep Lotion does not replace the use of a toner. 2. First apply Mela-Prep Lotion to darkened areas of the skin, morning and evening. a. Lightly massage the lotion into the areas of concern with the fingertips to assist in improving the absorption of the product. 3. Then mix equal amounts of Serum A and Serum B in the palm of the hand, gently massage into the pigmented areas of the skin morning and evening. a. Finally apply Mela-Even Cream to the full face (if the damage is extensive) / darkened areas (if the damage is localized) of the skin, morning and evening before moisturizing with your recommended Environ vitamin A enriched moisturizer. a. Always aim to use the highest level of vitamin A in combination with the Mela-Smart System. Retinol 3 has been used very successfully when used on an actual area of pigmentation as a localized treatment. b. Remember to always use an SPF 25 during the day to protect against exposure to the effects of UV rays. SPF 25 is the recommended level and works extremely well. Are any fragrances added to the new serums? The smell is that of the ingredients, no fragrance has been added. Will this system work if it is used without cosmetic needling? Cosmetic needling will always enhance the effectiveness and appearance of overall results achieved. 85

As melanin moves up the layers of the skin this is experienced. This is not a reason for concern and none of our trialists experienced any permanent darkening in the appearance of their pigmentation.
