1 The Latest Buzzzz enewsletter September 2014 LOOKOUT below... WOW! That was a big WOW! How about this years ABQ 'Metro Shop STROLL ' on Aug. 15 & 16th? Was that TOO much FUN or what? But, year after year, I have the same confusion; wondering if we should change the name? STROLL (/strol/) verb to walk in a leisurely way noun a short leisurely walk STAMPEDE (/stam'ped/) verb rush wildly in a sudden mass panic noun a sudden panicked rush of a number of horses, cattle, or other animals (I thought I heard someone say "moo", or maybe it was "moo ve over"?) Either way, it sure was FUN and we hope YOU had as much FUN as we did! "AMERICA the BEAUTIFUL"!! Shop Strollers This was our 4 Block Sampler with each of the other Shop's blocks. Cheri's is the one on the upper left! We still have a few extra Kits, if you missed out on one and would like one! Plus, we have extra of
2 We had between 500 and 600 people going through each of the shops in two days. Sew, what part of the word "STROLL" am I missing? It was a ST AMPEDE, again! Anyway, a special "THANKS" to Mary Jo from Southwest Decoratives; Dana & Shirley from Quilt Works; and Sandra from Quilt Ole' for having us BEE a part of such a wonderful and FUN event. Now for the good stuff... We had 60+ Prizes that were given away; plus misc. door prizes & gift cards from the various shops. And the TOP 3 Winners are... 8 On the lighter side... (Well, NOT really!) With the everyday stresses of life, sometimes it can really weigh on your marriage. Quite often a strong 'faith' in God can certainly help. That's why I was sew surprised and very disappointed to read about the Amish couple married 53 years that were getting a divorce. Apparently, he was driving her "BUGGY"! One quick reminder... "LADIES, if a man says he will 'fix something', he will. There is NO need to remind him about it every month!" Always Adding New Fabrics in our Shop! Hear YE, Hear YE!!
