The live cattle will not be in the room that night. Most of the cattle will be housed with the other Braunvieh show cattle in the American Royal cattle stalls. A few lots of the sale offering will not be in Kansas City and can be transported from the consignor s location to the new buyer. For information on which lots will be transported to Kansas City contact the individual consignors, or on Oct. 25th or 26th you may call the sale day phones at (540) or (785) Accommodations: Best Western Inn & Conference Center with Free shuttle to American Royal (ask for the American Royal Rate); Holiday Inn Express Westport-Plaza (816) (ask for Braunvieh rate); Marriott Kansas City Downtown (816) (American Royal Rate $109) Terms & Conditions: Cattle will sell under the approved standards as adopted by the Braunvieh Association of America. Terms are cash or check with proper I.D. Settlement must be made on the cattle prior to loading or delivery. Cattle purchased via telephone or mail order must be paid in full within 10 days of the sale before delivery. Cattle will be sold to the highest bidder with any and all disputes settled by the auctioneer. Health: All cattle will be accompanied by proper health certificates for immediate interstate shipment. Insurance: All animals become the property of the purchaser and will be at purchaser s risk at the time of sale. Livestock Mortality Insurance will be available should buyers wish to purchase it. Delivery: Consignors will work to accommodate buyers with their trucking needs. Liability: All persons attending this sale and related functions do so at their own risk. Registration/Transfers: A certificate of registration and transfer of that registration will be furnished to the buyer at the seller s expense within 45 days of the sale. EPDs are recalculated throughout the year by the Braunvieh Association of America, which means the figures repesented in this book may change for these animals in the future. Braunvieh Albinism Guarantee: Albinism is a Class 2 genetic defect that has been found in a few Braunvieh cattle. It is classified Class 2 because it does not cause severe economical loss.
