Consente di abbinare le migliaia di tinte dei filati Filmar, testare le proprie combinazioni-colore e vederle applicate ai più svariati motivi evergreen di maglie e calze uomo e donna. Un servizio agile e intuitivo che Filmar dedica agli utilizzatori dei suoi filati. COLORAMA AWARD Anche per questa stagione COLORAMA si è dedicata ai giovani organizzando il COLORAMA AWARD pensato per ispirare ed incoraggiare giovani studenti di scuole ed Università di moda e design di tutto il mondo nello sviluppo di progetti colore innovativi e di tendenza per la stagione Primavera Estate Oltre al premio monetario messo in palio da Filmar, la competizione ha voluto offrire un occasione per collegare scuola e industria, dando ai giovani l opportunità di veder i loro talenti applicati a progetti reali, al di fuori delle mura scolastiche. Il risultato è stato sorprendente per il numero di proposte ricevute e l impegno profuso dai ragazzi nella realizzazione delle combinazioni colore e dei moodboard di ispirazione. Abbiamo raccolto in questa brochure le proposte arrivate in finale per condividerle con voi e mettere in risalto la capacità ed il talento di questi giovani che sono la nostra forza e la nostra speranza. COLORAMA web app is a modern, user-friendly and low environmental impact service. It allows the combination of Filmar color yarns, test out the color combinations and see them applied to various and different evergreen patterns on knitwear & socks for men & women. A quick and intuitive service offered to Filmar s yarn users. COLORAMA AWARD This season too, COLORAMA devoted itself to the youth by hosting the COLORAMA AWARD, designed to inspire and encourage young students from fashion & design schools and Universities all over the word to develop innovative and fashionable color projects for the 2019 Spring-Summer season. Besides the financial award assigned by Filmar, the competition wanted to offer the chance to link school to industry, by giving young students and emerging fashion designers the opportunity to see their talent applied to real projects, outside the walls of their school institutions. The result has been surprising in terms of number of proposal received and for the effort exerted by participants into the realization of color combinations and inspirational mood boards. The finalist proposals have been included in this brochure in order to share them with you and highlight the ability and talent of these young people who are our strength and our hope. COLORAMA Il colore è luce e la luce è l esperienza primaria di ogni essere vivente. Lo investe nella sua totalità e occupa l intero universo della sua esperienza. Ma i colori come le culture sono anche capaci, mescolandosi, di creare una serie infinita di mondi nuovi. Per questo è ai giovani delle scuole d arte e di design di tutto il mondo che COLORAMA AWARD di Filmar ha chiesto con un concorso di individuare la cartella colori per la Primavera Estate 2019, con un operazione tesa a valorizzare la loro professionalità e offrire all azienda la freschezza visionaria del Color is light and light is the primary experience of every living being. Color overwhelms living beings in their entirety and occupies the whole universe of their experience. And civilizations are also reflected by particular chromatic cultures. This is why the grammar of colors and their changes not only indicate various degrees of sensibility, but also different ways of being, of perceiving each other and our environment. Colors allow the structuring of relationships with things and places. However colors, just like cultures, are capable, by blending together, of creating an infinite series of new worlds. This is why the COLORAMA AWARD by Filmar asked young students of Art and Design Schools all over the world, to propose a color palette for Spring-Summer The aim of the Award is to enhance youth professionalism and to offer the company the visionary freshness of their perspective. 4 Italy - Milan AESTHETIC OF BEAUTY The aesthetic of beauty has changed over the centuries. The past, present, and future of form, continues to evolve. The present state of beauty lies in freedom and strength. Bringing the body a sense of liberation to discover new forms and shapes. The opposition of the sameness of the human body and the frivolous ideas of beauty create a unique contrast between consistency and inconsistency. These two opposites come together to create a harmonious relationship between body and beauty; bringing to life the ideals of beauty and the authenticity of the human form.
5 Brazil - Londrina The chaotic routine of urban centers stimulates an escape from everyday life, causing individuals to pursue pleasurable activities and provide them with tranquility. Virtual reality and nature come together providing a more balanced experience. NATURE // TECHNOLOGY
6 China - Hong Kong When we grow up, we may easily get lost in the big world and forget our original intention. The Little Prince story reminds us to follow our heart without being afraid to explore and to seek for different things and people in our life journey. A combination of colors to tell the whole journey of a person chasing his own dream. THE LITTLE PRINCE
7 Egypt - Cairo Jointly with Istituto di Moda Burgo, Milan, Italy COLORS IN A SPIRITUAL DANCE As the dynamic movement of floating planets in space, an Egyptian folkloric dance revolves, beginning with the movement of the circular universe from its point and ending at the same point with a sustainable elimination of negative energy and catching eyes with colorful costumes.
8 Finland - Espoo CHINESE NEW YEAR The colors, spirit and activity of the Chinese New Year inspire happiness and excitement allowing a color collection that is lively and fun. The traditional Chinese New Year colors red and yellow appear in different shades in the extravagant festival allowing several joyful combinations.
9 France - Paris COLORS OF EQUALITY Vibrant colors play with each other in a single garment that is fun to wear!
10 England - Bath The Colour Theory chart, put together by Johannes Itten, has possible and imperceptible links with our natural surroundings. Primary and secondary colours form a language: placing these colours next to one another works harmoniously in nature, but several labels limit the color combination on a garment. However, alter the saturation or add an undertone and these conflicting colours become a part of a bold, powerful colour scheme FUNDAMENTALS
11 England - London A balance between foreign photographers depiction of Russia and personal experience, devoid of exoticising and sensationalising. The rich, vibrant colours used in Russian architecture and interiors of old public buildings - cinemas, concert halls, museums. Thus come the reds from the velvet drape curtains, and oranges and purples from stage decorations and golden trompe l oeil ceiling fixtures. The more muted, washed out greens and beiges come from the feeling of rundown-ness that permits these places that were once grande, but now linger in a state of nostalgia over things long gone. BRIGHT COLORS FOR OPTIMISM
12 Italy - Milan Bold colors and unconventional matching for a collection with light hearted and ironic features inspired by David Hockney, known for being an early adopter of technology. Inspiration goes back also to Glitch Art which uses digital errors for aesthetic purposes. GLITCH ART
13 Malaysia - Singapore Purples, pinks, and oranges for a personal perspective of how Summer looks like through my eyes. For the intimate touch into this inspiration, I grasped the ideas of both travel and fashion, which were two things I enjoyed the most. From there, I managed to collide all ideas under one color scheme, which were the colors of the sunset. SUMMER DAY
14 NEW WORLD Sud Korea - Seoul As time goes by, digital and technology develops, and a new two-sided world is unfolding. As new civilizations began to emerge, the ideal world that we ve dreamed of has come true. Like the flower buds overcome the cold winters and bloom in the warm spring, technology shows a new world through many trials In the colorful civilization, there are both the figure of the person who is delighted and the person who is feeling alienated and lonely.
15 Hungary - Budapest LOVING WITHOUT Wake up, live your emotions and don t be ashamed about it! The pansexual pride flag inspired this collection of vibrant color mixes that can suit anyone regardless of gender, age or sexuality. A GENDER

17 USA - New York PALOQUEMAO The unknown beauty and condensed hue of the harvest trade is something that deserves to be communicated. Paloquemao is a design capsule collection that uses color and graphics to communicate the imagery found in Colombian agriculture. The rich diversity of culture and colors that draw from local markets and harvesting is something that deserves to be exemplified in our society. A color- theme proposal of this narrative is a great way of promoting and celebrating agricultural trade.
18 N AKED. USA - San Francisco What do you feel when do you think of naked? Do you feel the your skin floating in the ocean? Do you feel like a kid running on the field? Do you feel your skin touching the bed sheet? I feel all of them. I also feel so much fun, free and wild when my mind is naked. That means I can observe beauty from everything I do. Naked is a Spring/Summer 2019 color collection inspired by the which beauty comes within the rawness and the freedom of life.
19 USA - St. Paul A vibrant line supported by bright colors working together in harmony. Some of the colors communicate the latency inherent in spring, while others are energetic and full of life. It is a venture away from colors that are seen as traditionally feminine, and pushes boundaries to create unique and playful knitwear EXUBERANCE
