The SheerSense flip card is designed to guide you through a step-by-step process of easily conducting in-home or in-office product demonstrations. Use this as an educational tool and visual aid for you to reference and for your customers to learn from. We also recommend looking through your CD, watching the SheerSense video, as well as watching the product application video several times for increased knowledge and professionalism. If possible attend a live in-home or in-office demonstration with your upline. Be sure to have plenty of stock on hand so that you may send each new customer home with a completed set. 3 Working with your Hostess Let your Hostess help with the product set-up and talk with her about the entire product line and the SheerSense opportunity. Ask her who is coming today that would like a dynamic career opportunity as a SheerSense Distributor. Be sure to ask her if she ever has ever thought about doing what you do. Encourage her to watch you closely during the demonstration and get involved. After all, every Hostess is a great candidate for becoming a Distributor. Remember, she invited you to her home or office, into her sphere of influence, to see your products. Make her your partner during the demonstration and plant the seeds of recruiting. (Note you may wish to play one of the company videos, while you are setting up, greeting the guests and selecting colours). Hostess preparation prior to the demonstration is key and should be done twice. Once, when you book or confirm the event, and again before the guests arrive. Make sure you recommend to the Hostess not to serve food or alcohol prior to demonstrating Lipsense as the product should be applied to clean, dry lips. Keep refreshments to a bare minimum during demo: - Involve Hostess with set-up - Let her play with the products before the guests arrive and select her lip colour. - Find out who is coming that may be a potential Distributor - Plant recruiting seeds with the Hostess - Play company videos before the presentation Set up the following for each guest at a table with chairs Laminated colour chart Mirror / Pen Beauty book Tissue (Wet wipe to be given out when you are ready so they do not dry) Wish list You do not need to decorate the centre table with the products (a lighted scented candle will give atmosphere, but is not essential). Remember your guests will be watching you and observing how simple or complicated it is to be a SheerSense Distributor. You should place all product testers and applicators directly in front of you. Only you will disperse product from testers and only you will handle and pass out applicators to each guest at the appropriate time in the demonstration. This will help you to keep control of the demonstration, decrease unnecessary exposure to applicators and testers and greatly diminish the length of time the demonstration requires. Your goal is to keep each demonstration under one hour. ( We suggest the maximum of 10 guests per party) Flip Card 3

4 Greeting the Guests Make the colour selection by running the lipstick that they bought with them on the back of their hand. Run the Lipsense colour next to their lipstick on the back of their hand until you find a colour match and encourage them to leave it there. Tell your guests that the lip colour you have selected will stay on their lips for many hours; therefore it is important to select one close to the colour they normally wear. When the guests arrive, first take the opportunity to meet them one by one, then select the Lipsense colour they are going to apply during the demonstration. As they are seated ask all guests to complete name etc on top of the wish list form. (Hint: Experimenting with new colours on a first-time Lipsense user is not advisable. Be sure and demonstrate the Lipsense colour that matches the lipstick they are wearing. Remember Lipsense is not lipstick that is easily removed and reapplied. Lipsense is designed to stay on lips, so demonstrate a colour you know they will like wearing.) If they have selected a shade of lipstick that takes a little more experimentation to match other than a choice between two Lipsense colours, let them know that this first product demonstration is primarily to show them our new colour technology. If after the demonstration they choose to take the technology home with them, you will then spend ample time blending their signature shade. Tell each guest the name of the colour chosen for her selected Lipsense demonstration colour shade. Ask each one to remember the colour shade and write the name of the LipSense colours on the wish list form. It is important for them to remember the name because you will be using corresponding colours to match throughout your presentation. Also: useful to find out which finish they prefer: glossy, matte or pearl. Ask to be seated for the presentation.
