1 ANNEX - B APPOINTMENT LIST TO SIRMOOR SATHIES-UK ANNUAL REPORT 2016 DATED 13 FEBRUARY ND GURKHA RIFLES ASSOCIATION-UK (SIRMOOR SATHIES) - APPOINTMENT LIST PERIOD FROM MARCH 2014 TO DECEMBER 2017 Introduction: The 2 nd King Edward VII S Own Gurkha Rifles (Sirmoor Rifles) was raised at Sirmoor State in India on 24 April 1815, and disbanded on 01 July 1994 in Hong Kong. 2 nd Gurkha Rifles Association-UK (Sirmoor Sathies) was officially formed on Saturday 1 March 2014 at Aldershot in UK (but was unofficially formed in 2005). The Association aim is to promote and maintain the bonds of friendship amongst serving and retired Gurkhas of all ranks of the Sirmoor Regiment by getting together at least twice a year through the medium of celebrating the unique battle honours, ie Delhi Day (1857) on the nearest weekends. The 2 nd King Edward VII S Own Gurkha Rifles (Sirmoor Sathies) advisory body and Area Representative Officers are shown below for your information and necessary action. 1.
