VISITORS: Over 16,000 private and wholesale buyers from all regions of Kazakhstan, as well as Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan. TOTAL AREA: sq.m. 3 POST-REPORT On April 9, 2017 Aru Jewellery Exhibition completed successfully its work in Almaty! ARU is a specialized jewelry exhibition project in Kazakhstan, which consists of two annual international fairs: spring ARU Almaty and autumn ARU Astana. The Aru Fair started in 2003 and now is the only jewelry exhibition not only in Kazakhstan but also in the whole Central Asia. Over the years, the exhibition has firmly taken its place among special events in the jewelry business in the former Soviet Union and has established itself as a true celebration of beauty and grace. The event was held with the official support of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty and the League of Jewelers of Kazakhstan. The difficult economic situation in recent years has had a negative impact on the general attendance of the exhibition. However, this year the Fair was marked by a sharp increase in the number of visitors, over 16,000 buyers. According to the exhibitors and buyers, the 28th International Specialized Jewelry Exhibition ARU 2017 in Almaty again served as an excellent opportunity for successful implementation of commercial plans and entry to the Kazakhstani market. Visitors were pleased by the opportunity to see and buy high quality jewelry at low prices, as well as get acquainted with the latest trends of jewelry fashion. 3

4 Consequently, visitors who bought jewelry at the exhibition were able to participate in the "Golden Jewelry Box" drawing traditionally held within the ARU exhibition every day. For organizers and participants of the exhibition, the results of this year inspire hope in overcoming crisis and further development of ARU jewelry exhibition project.
