Supported by funding from Arts Council England s Grants for the Arts Scheme and working in partnership with Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG) and Woking Borough Council, we are introducing a series of professional dance companies to Rhoda McGaw Theatre as well as continuing our outdoor festival programme. Carmen defiantly ignores all warnings to pursue a better life but tragedy follows her like a shadow in the hot sun. Taking part are groups from Woking College, Farnborough College, Kings International College & Horsell Junior School. Activate Wednesday 15 & Thursday 16 February Suitable for 8-11 years plus Time: 9.30am 12.30pm Fee: The group will create an urban dance piece of street/hip hop to perform at Woking SLAM, p9 for details. Rotate Thursday 16 February Suitable for 11 years plus Time: 1pm 4pm Fee: The Urban Playground Team will lead the session; participants will have the opportunity to use a scaffold frame to develop technique and performance skills as well as work on group choreographies and sequences.
