1 October 2O16 Hello, ADSO Members, Last month and this month we had two great shows; one was the Autumn Show with some very creative works, and the winners should be proud. Next we had the Fair Show that was well represented by both members and non-members of ADSO, as well as middle and high school artists. I thought all the works submitted were exceptional, and it would be difficult for me to pick the winners. I would like to thank Hanna and all who assisted her with the Fair Show to make it a success. We have permission from the City to construct a new fence in the rear of the property. The Board will be voting next month on what type of fence. The two choices are wood or colored chain link with privacy slats. The City is requiring us to pay for and maintain the fence as well as the property within the fence. We must use an approved contractor able to obtain the proper permits. If the membership has any thoughts regarding the type of fence, please Sandy at adso@artsdesign.org, and the Board will consider your suggestions. I would like to thank all the Board members and chairman for their hard work as well as their dedication to ADSO. Without them our organization would not be successful. If you see one of the people that do so much for us, stop and thank them. I know it will be appreciated. Eric Harris President
