2 FACT SHEET Known Beauty Known Beauty was founded in March 2018 by Mary Kay Gagnepain in Los Angeles, California. Mary Kay has always had a passion for makeup. As a young make-up artist, all her friends would ask her how she did her make-up and commented that make-up was just too hard and complicated. So, she started her own brand designed to help beginners begin. The Identity Palette Known Beauty is officially launching their first product: The Identity Palette. Known wanted to design a product that helped every day young women create a beautiful make-up look. The Identity Palette is an eye shadow palette with tutorials/instructions incorporated into the packaging. The Launch Party To celebrate the launch, Known will be hosting a cocktail party at the Black-Tie Affair event space in Vernon, CA at 7:00 p.m. on December 14, All the proceeds from the event will benefit Girls on the Run. Girls on the Run Known Beauty advocates for self-love and we believe Girls on the Run to be a great example of empowering young women and girls. Mary Kay's little sister was also involved with Girls on the Run, so it is very near and dear to her heart. She saw first hand how this organization changed her sister's life.
3 LOGO Logo Explanation Known Beauty was founded upon Christian beliefs. Known Beauty strives to help women know that they are deeply and intimately known by Christ (1 Corinthians 8:3). Therefore, the triangle on the outside of the logo represents the Holy Trinity. Purple is associated with royalty or priesthood, which is precisely why we chose it, for it represents that God (the Trinity) is the Lord of our lives. In addition, we chose water color to symbolize Baptism (Galatians 3:27). Then, the brand name, Known, is directly in the middle to show that in the middle of all of that, He knows us by name (Isaiah 43:1) and He loves us deeply and unconditionally.
4 ARTWORK THE IDENTITY PALETTE Exterior packaging Interior packaging There are 42 shades in the palette. Horizontally, there are titles that label each look (ex: cool smoky, warm smoky). Vertically, the steps of application are labeled (ex: base, crease, highlight). Each row offers a different look that individuals can create with steps on how to complete them.

To celebrate the launch, they will be hosting a cocktail party at the Black-Tie Affair event space in Vernon, CA at 7:00 p.m. on December 14, All the proceeds from the event will benefit Girls on the Run. As a brand, we advocate for self-love and worth, Mary Kay Gagnepain, CEO said. We believe that every person is fully known and completely loved, which is why we are partnering with Girls on the Run; an organization that strives to empower young women everywhere. Narrowing in on their self-worth platform, Known Beauty is launching their first eye-shadow palette, Identity. The new Identity palette is an eye-shadow palette for the everyday, beginner make-up user. Identity is designed to simplify the elaborate makeup looks that are shown in tutorials and on television. There are 42 shades in the palette. Horizontally, there will be titles that label each look (ex: cool smoky, warm smoky). Vertically, the steps of application will be labeled (ex: base, crease, highlight). Each row offers a different look that individuals can create with steps on how to complete them. The step by step instructions on the palette have really taught me how to do my makeup, Hannah Mellow, testimonial said. I would be lost without my Known Beauty Identity palette. However, Known Beauty encourages all their customers to use this palette in any way they see it fit. Make-up is an art and there is no right or wrong way to apply it, Gagnepain said. At the cocktail party, Known Beauty will be handing out free Identity palettes to all in attendance. Other Known Beauty products, such as their famous primer and setting spray, will be around for testing and taking. The cocktail party will have an open bar and catered appetizers. One can purchase a ticket at Known Beauty s event page (link out to it). Purchasing a ticket ahead of time guarantees one a place and prices go up at the door. Tickets are $60 online and will rise to $90 the week of the event and $120 the night of the event, at the door. ### Known Beauty is a beauty company that is based in Los Angeles and is consumer driven.
