When completed in 2018, ICONSIAM will be a new Thailand s iconic National Landmark on the River of Kings, a new paradigm of legacy of pride and prosperity for Thai people now and for next generation. 32 D E PA R T M E N T S T O R E Takashimaya at ICONSIAM Siam Piwat sets plans to expand our department store business, by having its subsidiary ICONSIAM Co., Ltd. partner with premium Japanese department store 'Takashimaya' to set up the first Takashimaya department store in Thailand at ICONSIAM as the national landmark's retail anchor. The new Takashimaya, to be built with a total investment of Bht 3,000 million - of which Bht 1,800 million is the building construction value - is expected to generate a wave of excitement because of its many new offerings for consumers in Thailand. (Japan) to open a new Tokyu Department Store at Paradise Park Shopping Center. Opened in mid 2015, this store is a second addition of Tokyu Department Store in Thailand with the investment of 400 million Baht. Its total gross floor area (GFA) of 13,165 square meters occupies the first and second floors of the shopping center which offer a comprehensive bouquet of leading local and international brands and products with an aim to accommodate the strong purchasing power represented in Eastern Bangkok.
