2 The Lizard and Mount s Bay Open Craft & Produce Show Thank you for taking time to look at the schedule for our Show. We hope you can find something to inspire you to enter this event. Celebrating the skills that each community has is really important and we look forward to seeing some wonderful work and talents displayed. This is a new initiative for the Chapels and circuit and we hope you can support this venture. Rules: 1. All entry forms to secretaries as early as possible, but no later than 6 th March 2016 with the appropriate entry fee. Please entry as early as possible! 2. Entry Fees: 25p per entry, Children 10p per entry. Cheques to be made payable to Lizard and Mount s Bay Methodist Circuit. 3. No more than 3 entries per class per exhibitor. 4. No prize money. 5. All exhibits must be the work or produce of the named exhibitor. 6. There will be Certificates awarded for: Man with Most Points, Lady with Most Points, Best Boy s entry, Best Girl s entry, The Best of each Section (Eggs, Handicrafts, Home Cookery, Photography, Flowers, Floral Art, Christian Message) and some other specials. 7. Points will be awarded: 1 st 4 points, 2 nd 3 points, 3 rd 2 points & 4 th 1 point. In the case of a tie, Best sectional exhibits and the number of 1 st prizes awarded will be considered. 8. The judges decision will be final and the committee reserve the right to appoint replacement judges without notifying exhibitors. Classes may be split or combined at judges or stewards discretion. 9. Certificates and awards will be presented in the Methodist Church at 4:30 pm. 10. All items to be staged in the Hall or Church between 7pm & 9pm on Friday 11 th March & 7:30 am & 9:15 am on Saturday 12 th March Late exhibits will be refused. Closed during Judging; Open to Public at 12 noon. 11. No items to be removed until 5 pm on Saturday 12 th March The committee will be most anxious for the care and safety of the exhibits but will not be responsible for loss or damage to same. 13. Exhibition numbers will be given to exhibitors on arrival. 14. Exhibitors offering entries to be auctioned please indicate these on the entry form at time of entry. The proceeds from the auction will be help fund the work of the LAMB Methodist Circuit. We are very grateful for these items which will be auctioned in the Hall at 7pm on Saturday 12 th March Tickets for the Auction will include a Pasty Supper at 3 per person. These tickets can be reserved in advance with entry forms.
