I have come to learn my assumptions were based on perception, misinformation and a lack of concrete facts. My personal experience has shown me that network marketing is a reputable and growing industry. It is forecasted that in 10 years every household in America will either buy products from NWM companies or have a stream of income from a NWM co. I see this growth all around us jewelry, bags, insurance, nutrition, anti-aging many companies jumping into this industry - Companies want to decrease overhead and costly channels of distribution. We all know word of mouth is the most powerful form of marketing. We trust our friend s opinions, or a review by real user more than an ad! I am surrounded by people who are wildly successful in Arbonne and by people who simply love to purchase the products both of which make it a viable company and business opportunity. DO NOT SKIP THIS SENTENCE: This facial is a special treatment we will do just tonight. However, aside from the mask, this is the line I use every day and it takes just 2 minutes to do it and gives results which makes that little bit of daily self care worth every second! Offer hair band, clip or bobby pins to pull hair back. IMPORTANT: Take a close look at your skin in your mirror notice your pore size, little lines, and the moisture content because you re going to see all that change after we ve completed the facial. We are mainly using our most popular RE9 Anti-Aging skin care and Genius products, which are designed and clinically proven to show results as quickly as 24 hours. Does anyone have very sensitive skin? By that I mean, you get red easily, you have rosacea, bad acne or eczema? Or are you using Retin-A? In my experience, those with sensitive skin can use most of our products, b/c it is often fragrance, preservatives and other chemicals causing the reaction or irritation. That said, I will tell you the most active products before we use them so you can spot test or decide not to use them. We also have the Calm line, which is for extremely sensitive skin. You don t have to read all of the speaking points. Do not refresh the water in the bowls. The water should only be used to moisten their fingers when applying the Cleanser and FC5 Exfoliating New Cell Scrub.*** 1. Step 1: Cleanser Pea size amount, ½ pump. Step 1 is the Cleanser. Moisten your fingertips with water from your bowl and I ll give you about a ½ pump of cleanser. Gently massage this all over your face using circular motions, just like you are washing you face at home. The cleanser is safe to use on your eyes. If you d like it to lather more, just add a little more water from your bowl with your fingers. Notice this cleanser doesn t foam a lot because we don t use sulfates, which are a chemical foaming agent (SLS). Same chemical used in detergents, shampoo, car washes. Will remove makeup, including lipstick and eye makeup, unless it s waterproof. A sign of a good cleanser is it leaves you feeling clean but not tight. o All of our cleansers work well to remove dirt and oil and they are also ph correct, so they cleanse without stripping or drying your skin. As we move through the facial, you ll notice we only use a little bit of each product and this is because they are very concentrated. A little bit goes a long way, so our products will last much longer than most (4-6 mos on average). 5

6 Notice the fragrance. The light citrus smell is from Vitamin C and we use the most effective form. Any scent in our products it comes from the fruit or plant it is made with never artificial. Give each guest a warm washcloth from the thermal bag. Now, take your washcloth, and remove the cleanser. When you re finished, place your washcloth in the basket. Optional based on group and interest/attention level. The fruits and veggies in this scrub act like a little Pac Man to remove dead, dull skin and refine your pores. This is great for teen skin that tends to be oily or prone to blackheads. Option 2 is our FC5 Intense Hydration Mask This is from the same line as the New Cell Scrub, FC5. If your skin feels a little tight or dry, or you feel like you need some hydration, this one pumps your skin full of moisture and makes it look more alive and vibrant. This is such a great multi-purpose mask. Many use it as a hand crème in the winter. You can put it anywhere you have dry, chapped skin. It is amazing for long distance air travel! Option 3 - The RE9 Cellular Renewal Masque This is our 5 minute micro peel. We call it chemical peel without the chemicals. It s like going to the spa and having a chemical peel, but without the chemicals and without the peeling for days afterward. You can use this a couple of times a week. It dissolves the dead cuticle on the surface of the skin and produces a nice glow. This product uses pineapple enzymes, which work to remove dead cells, fine lines and wrinkles. Here s a fun fact: Workers harvesting pineapple have to wear gloves to protect their hands because the enzymes in pineapple are strong enough to wear away their fingerprints. 7 Ø If you ve chosen the Exfoliating New Cell Scrub, you ll want to wet your fingers again using some water from your bowl, (give quarter size amount) and gently massage your face and neck with this - be sure to avoid your eyes. It s normal to feel some tingling and to experience some redness with this product. If it s really intense, you can use a little more water with it. Great to use 1-2x/week (teens can use every other day). I keep mine in the shower. Ø If you ve chosen the Intense Hydration Mask or the Cellular Renewal Mask, there is no need to wet your fingers. Simply smooth a layer over your skin, avoiding your eyes. There is no need to rub it in. Ø With the Cellular Renewal Mask, it s normal to feel your face heat up and get a little red and flushed, but that redness goes away after about minutes. If it s too intense, you can start taking it off. (Put a dime sized amount of the mask of choice onto the fingertips) I personally (or my colleague, Shanna), leave this mask on over 20 minutes now because I ve built up tolerance and while I get red, I just know that I m getting to a deep level. Then I promise I am done with most of the information giving and will move on to the fun stuff and get you all glowing! Play 1st 4 min minutes of Story of Stuff Video: Give each guest a new warm washcloth after 5 min to remove masks. Go ahead and take your mask off and place washcloth in the basket. I know, this information can be overwhelming. But we have good news! Our bodies are superresilient and small changes can make big differences. And Arbonne can help you do it. 8 Step 3 - Genius Resurfacing Pads This is our secret weapon to aging - like a magic eraser for your face! Can be used by all ages and with all product lines Arbonne has created a plant form of Retin A/Renova, but it doesn t have all the side effects of a prescription retinoid, as it is a plant based ESTER not an ACID. Standard Retin A is an effective acne and anti-aging treatment but many cannot use it because it is too harsh for their skin. High dose vitamin A is also harmful to your liver and kidneys long term. You don t have that issue with our gentle, plant based Genius Resurfacing Pads. Genius contains ginger and chicory root and you will notice it leaves a nice, healing oil that soaks in. Be sure to close your eyes and mouth. Using a toner helps minimize pores and feels so fresh! 5. Step 5 Serum Use one pump; this is very active. Avoid eyes and mouth; dot serum around your face and massage into the skin in upward motion. Exfoliating is the key to good skin (baby s skin regenerates every 7 hours; an adult every 7 days) But we don t want to do harsh scrubs every day. If your product does not say vegan or formulated without animal byproducts, it s in there! 6. EYE CRÈME. (Have a choice of 2. Need ¼ pump, pearl sized amount) Apply using the tips of your ring fingers (weakest finger) and pat gently around the orbital bone and the delicate skin around your eyes (show them how). It will travel so don t get it too close to your lash lines. Important to only use eye cream to hydrate the eyes. If you use a regular moisturizer on your eyes, it is too heavy and can lead to puffiness and sagging. The RE9 corrective eye cream reduces puffiness and diminishes dark circles, lines and wrinkles. You will recognize this on the label of most of your products and it will be at the end of a long word such as - methylparaben, butylparaben, propylparaben, etc. Parabens and Phthalates (and plastics) mimic estrogen in our body. The synthetic false estrogens collect in our reproductive organs (organs where we make and store estrogen such as ovaries, breasts, cervix and in men, the prostate). 5 different types of parabens are being found intact in a large percentage of breast tumors Phthalates are plasticizers that make ingredients stick to your skin, like artificial fragrance. Phthalates are illegal in children s toys here in the US, yet they are allowed in personal care and cosmetics You will recognize them most easily by looking for the words fragrance or parfum on the label Both of these ingredients are known endocrine disruptors and should be avoided. 7. Step 7 NIGHT CRÈME (OR CHOICE OF DAY CREME. Pea sized amount) As the last step, we ll apply the Night Crème (or Day Crème). Many people NEVER use night cream because they think they will wake feeling greasy, but with ours, you won t because we don t use mineral oil. 9

10 MINERAL OIL TALKING POINT Real quick is everyone familiar with the story and problem with Mineral oil? (let them answer). I ll explain fast, b/c I want to make sure everyone is aware of this one. I know I was shocked when I first learned about this, and most people are b/c we all grew up using baby oil and Vaseline! It is the base of most personal care products in the US and that is what baby oil and Vaseline is. Also known as petrolatum and is a derivative of crude oil. Using mineral oil on your skin is similar to covering your skin in plastic wrap. Think about what happens to birds in an oil spill they suffocate. Same thing with mineral oil on human skin. It creates a barrier on your skin that does not allow ingredients to be absorbed and that barrier doesn t allow toxins to be released either skin is our largest elimination organ. Mineral oil is one of the ingredients banned by the European Union and Arbonne has never used it. This is what we mean by being 100% botanically based (not petro-chemical based with botanicals).
