1 GROTTA DEI DESIDERI XI EDIZIONE 01/04 AGOSTO 2015 BANDO DI PARTECIPAZIONE The cultural association CP Produzioni, Amantea (CS) with Assessorato al Turismo of the Province of Cosenza, Assessorato al Turismo of Amantea and Banca Mediolanum (represented by Fabio Redavide, family banker), organizes the XI edition of GROTTA DEI DESIDERI. This event was created to celebrate the link between fashion, art and culture and it is realized thanks to Emmedia ( Agc Agency, Modi di Moda ( and to the lawyer Mrs Ilaria Lupi. GROTTA DEI DESIDERI has been institutionalized by Comune of Amantea through the resolution n 333, on 25th November 2010 and it has been declared one of the most important events of the Camera della Moda Calabria. Within this project CP production has announced a contest for fashion designers that aims at promoting young talents giving them the chance to compare with others, build skills, get job experience and exposure. Thanks to GROTTA DEI DESIDERI young fashion designers can reflect upon and develop their projects about fashion. The contestants can express themselves freely; there are no fixed themes. Conditions for participating -This contest is directed to young graduated fashion designers and/or students attending public or private high schools of design, fashion and fashion designers, fashion universities and professional schools. It is also directed to fashion designers who have their own atelier, as long as it has been opened less than five years ago. -All the fashion designers have to show four models through sketches (A4 size, 21x30 on white paper), along with a sample of fabric and its technical specifications. All this material must be sent both in paper and digital format. -On the back of each sketch there must be: progressive number of the sketch, first name and surname of the contestant, address, phone number and . -The application must be sent by using the form enclosed to this announcement (ALLEGATO A). In the same application form each fashion designer must write what is the concept of their collection, using up to 500 words (including spaces). The contestants must also send: a)n 2 (two) cd s with the songs they would like to use for their stroll on the runway. The songs must take min 8 minutes; b)n 1 photo, full shot JPG format, 800x600 pixel 300 dpi, minimum resolution and n 1 photo, close-up JPG format, 800x600 pixel, minimum resolution 300 dpi. -Contestants under 18 must enclose the authorization of one of their parents or guardians (ALLEGATO B). -All the material must be sent by 16 th March 2015 and no later to: dr. ERNESTO PASTORE DIRETTORE ARTISTICO GROTTA DEI DESIDERI - VIA BALDACCHINI, AMANTEA (CS), enclosing a legible copy of the deposit of 30,00 as a flat rate and considered a refund. It must be credited to the following current bank account: Associazione Culturale CP Produzioni BANCA POPOLARE DELL EMILIA ROMAGNA FILIALE DI AMANTEA IBAN: IT12I The postmark serves as evidence. -All the incomplete and irregular envelopes will not be examined. All the material will not be given back. The organization of the contest is not responsible for eventual damages during the carriage of the material.

2 -The list of the fashion designers who will participate at the final part will be publicized on the website lagrottadeidesideri.wordpress.com and on Facebook, by 28th February 2015 and no later. The committee of CP Produzioni will choose the best contestants, whoseand its final decision is definite and cannot be appealed against. The standards used by the committee are: style, practicability, originality, innovation and/or experimentation. All outfits must be modeled on size 42.The size of the shoes will be communicated at the end of the model casting by 30 th June 2015 and no later. The organization holds the right to use the outfits and all the material sent by the fashion designers only as a purpose for advertising. -August 1 st - Preview soirèe: Each short listed contestant will exhibit an outfit of their choice and participate in a talk show about his/her personal details and the concept of their collection -August 4 th - Gala soirèe: The fashion designers will exhibit three outfits of their own choice. The jury s decision s to be considered final and thus cannot be appealed against. It will proclaim three winners ( 1 st, 2nd and 3rd prize) and award them specifically. The first prize winner will receive a 1.300,00 scholarship, while a 700,00 scholarship will go to the second prize winner. The first three designers will also be awarded a free photo shooting and/or a calendar with professional photographers and models, which will take place between September and October (or only in one of these two months). Concurrently, winners will receive their scholarships. The designers who participate at the photo shooting and/or calendar have the right to use the pictures for any purpose, mentioning their credits. They will receive the pictures in a high definition digital format. The event will be broadcasted on TV, internet, social networks and other means of communication. All the material received from the designers will be broadcasted through the press office of Emmedia s communication studio ( Places, dates and times could change for organizational reasons. However the contestants will be informed on time. -All the fashion designers chosen for the final event must pay 320,00 (THREE HUNDRED- TWENTY/00) as a flat rate. It includes the price of the room in a 4-star hotel (full board) from 5 p.m. of July 31th to 10 a.m. of August 5th. The fashion designers can be accompanied by other people who can stay in the same hotel paying 65 (SIXTY-FIVE/00) euro per person in full board. The price excludes travel expenses and costs not indicated in the notice. Each contestant can pay the entire sum of 320,00 euro by April 30 th, 2015 or they can divide it in two payments by April 30,2015 and May 30,2015 on the following current bank account: Associazione Culturale CP Produzioni BANCA POPOLARE DELL EMILIA ROMAGNA FILIALE DI AMANTEA IBAN: IT12I The copy of the payment must be sent within three days of the payment itself, to the following address: grottadeidesideri@gmail.com. The subscription to the contest is official when the payment is received and if the contestant accepts the rules of the contest. It will be sent to the designers chosen for the final event after publishing the list of the finalists on line. Quit to join the competition: All the contestants could quit to join the competition sending a registered letter (raccomandata A/R) to: dr. ERNESTO PASTORE DIRETTORE ARTISTICO GROTTA DEI DESIDERI - VIA BALDACCHINI, AMANTEA (CS) within and no later 30th May 2015, asking to be refunded of the sum of 320,00 euro (THREE HUNDRED-TWENTY/00) or asking to use the sum for other events sponsored by CP PRODUZIONI. This sum will be refund only within and no later that date. Cancellation: The artistic direction can decide to cancel the event for serious reasons, refunding the contestants or using the sum of partecipation for other events sponsored by CP PRODUZIONI.

3 PRIZES AND AWARDS -The winner of the contest wins a 1.300,00 scholarship offered by Banca Mediolanum and a free photo shooting and/or a calendar. -The 2nd prize is a 700,00 scholarship offered by Banca Mediolanum and a free photo shooting and/or a calendar. -The fashion designers who wins 3rd prize can join a free photo shootingand/or calendar.
