Peeka B was funded y Traci Csta as a result f the need t find clthing that made dressing her yung children easy while supprting their develpmental, physical and scial needs. Is this a cmmn struggle? was a phrase that Traci ften fund herself asking ther mthers. Turns ut it was. After cnsiderale research and cuntless fcus grups, Traci egan t understand what parents were lking fr in clthing fr their children, and as a result, in 2006 Peeka B was rn. WHAT SETS PEEKABOO BEANS CLOTHING APART? Ethical Manufacturing We wrk clsely with ur manufacturing partners t ensure ur clthing is made in a happy and healthy envirnment. 6 peeka OUR FABRIC: ONE-OF-A-KIND It is n surprise that peple fall in lve with Peeka B even mre when they tuch and feel ur garments. Frm fier t faric, we ensure that ur B are prduced with quality and safety in mind. Our farics are custm-made y suppliers and mills that are carefully vetted y ur Peeka B team t ensure the highest health and envirnmental standards. The fllwing is a rief verview f what ges int ur faric: Our Jersey and French Terry farics are made frm 95% Cttn and 5% Spandex. We purchase ur faric frm the same mill, which surces the yarn frm the same farmers each seasn. This ensures ur quality is cnsistent seasn after seasn and there are n surprises thrughut the weaving and dyeing prcess. We use a fine yarn t make up ur faric. With the high faric weight cunt (320grams French Terry; 240grams Jersey), this creates a dense faric that hlds its shape and is very sft t the tuch. Our faric ges thrugh a prcess t urn ff any lse fiers. This helps t reduce pilling n the surface f ur faric. Yarn-died farics, such as ur stripes, d nt g thrugh this prcess. We dye ur faric accrding t the Oke-tex Standard 100. This m that ur farics are dyed withut using sustances such as carcingenic clrants, and stay well within the limits f sustances such as Frmaldehyde and heavy metals. At the same time, we fllw cmmercial standards fr clrfastness t ruing and washing. Our faric is pre-shrunk t eliminate mst f the shrinkage (the final prduct has apprx % shrinkage). Heat is used t pre-shrink ur faric instead f chemicals which is the industry standard. GARMENT TOLERANCES Styles may fit differently depending n a desired lk r style. T ensure cnsistency, we try every style n a size 5 Bean at least twice during the prductin prcess. Thugh, it is pssile t encunter a slight variance frm time t time, as all f ur garments are made y individuals. Our prductin garment tlerance is ½ plus/minus the specificatin we prvide t ur prductin partners. It is imprtant t rememer that ur B are lvingly manufactured y a numer f skilled wrkers and therefre slight variatins can ccur. SUSTAINABILITY We design ur playwear t last! Our thughtful designs and custm-made faric add t the lngevity and value f Peeka B. Our faric is designed fr playdates, playgrunds, playtime and wash and wear. We design a quality prduct uilt t last, ut when playing hard, rips and tears can happen. QUALITY Our current defect rate is less than 1%, which is a unique fact that separates us frm all the rest. Quality is tp-pririty at Peeka B, as we maintain quality inspectin checks at every stage f the manufacturing prcess. This includes pre-prductin checks n all farics, intermediate spt inspectins, and a cmplete and full inspectin at the end f prductin efre the gds are packed and shipped. 5

Our knitting partners nly use dyes that fllw the Oek-Tex Standard 100, which is an independent testing and certificatin system fr textiles. This standard guarantees that there are n carcingenic dyes, heavy metals r ther finishes and rinses that make the faric mre stain resistant r wrinkle free and are harmful t yur Bean. Our size chart prvides the key dy measurements t find the crrect size fr yur Bean ased n their measurements. Our fit guide is a tl t help VIBs understand sme key features regarding the fit f a style. The difference etween size and fit is size equals the dy measurements and the fit is hw the clthing lays n the dy.
